Eagle's Landing

Considering it rained .75" of rain a day before, the course was in great shape. Fun layout

Would definitely refer this course to anyone. Greens were awesome, layout was great, everyone had a great time

I don’t know how I missed this course during my previous visits to Ocean City. Perhaps it wasn’t on GolfNow then. At any rate, this course is great. Lots of lovely marsh and water views, hardly any homes, and great conditioning on this interesting layout. Add to that friendly and helpful staff, and what more can you ask for. Because of the time of year and the rain they’ve had, it was cartpath only. But even for an old cripple like me that didn’t dampen my enthusiasm for playing this course. It will definitely be top of my list for courses to play when I’m in this neck of the woods.

Had a midday tee time. 42 degrees, with no wind. The course was in great shape. Pretty busy, cart path only & still played in under 4 hours. It's a must play on Delmarva!

Course played well for the Fall. Some pace issues on back 9 after quick pace on front.

Played it Oct. 25. It was so nice, we played it again two days later. Hard to beat Eagles Landing.

My family and I come to Ocean City every October, and I keep coming back to Eagle's Landing. It is a challenging course, but the layout and staff are fantastic. The setting is serene and calming. As long as we visit Ocean City, I will be golfing at Eagle's Landing.

One more tee box option is needed for the course. The tips are 7000 and the gold are 6300. There should be another combo tee box option. I did have a very good time playing the course. There are a number of forced carries for my wife, which makes it play tough for her. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Due to a tropical storm rolling in and some strong winds, i decided to play the 6300 tee distance. The layout is good, there are a couple of holes that I do not like, especially the 18th which is a layup . The holes that I did not like may have been better from the tips, not sure. The course was in very good shape.

Issues

The breaks on my cart and the 2 guys we played with did not work. For the price they charge, that should not happen. I wish that they had a driving range.

Very fun course. Wide enough fairways anyone could play but there are some challenging holes sprinkled in. Great bay side views on the back with some over marsh holes that can be intimating.

Only lost 4 balls so a successful round.

Always liked the course. Nice layout. Some great views. Challenging; yet fair. Two issues; some fairways were bare. Was literally hitting off hard ground with no grass on a couple. The main gripe is that they should publicly post when aeration was performed. The greens were recently done and it did somewhat affect play. Had we known this in advance; I would have held off booking for another week. Even at check-in, this wasn’t mentioned. Prices are high enough these days. Knock a few bucks off when conditions are affected.

We had a beautiful day to play and everything went well except the usually flawless greens at Eagles Landing were just aerated! It was very hard to predict the line or speed that the putts would roll! On hole 15 we had a two foot putt that took 5 attempts to be holed!

Great course layout with a mix of both challenging and straight forward holes. Fairways and greens were cut and maintained well. Can't wait to come back again.
