Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

needs work. I have played other courses managed by the same company and none of them seem to be very good. Invest some money.
Course is in need of water, fairways are just starting to green up. .The greens are better than they have been but they still need some work. Sand traps are not raked for the most part.
Hunter's Creek = no grass
Haven't played here in several years and was extremely disappointed. It is a favorite layout of ours but there was nearly no grass to be found. I realize the drought has taken its toll all over Florida, but this was the worst I have seen, and honestly, the conditions go beyond just the lack of fairway grass. There are numerous greens with dead spots and cart bridges over water that are in serious need of repair. Such a shame.
Plesant Round of Golf - 'However' ?
For the price, a good round of golf. Course was in good shape and a pleasant time was had by all. However, amenities are lacking. The grill was closed with ni advance notice. No water provided any where on the course. Course bathrooms were closed and codes to open were not provided ahead of time. Course itself needs to provide additional 'ball cleaners; only came across one. A facilities management review is overdue.
Poor golf course
Tees- mostly teeing off grass patches
Fairways- dried up brown or dead grass
Greens- disastrous. Large areas missing grass. Large sand and dirt areas. No flat rolls. Very bumpy on rolls
Should be paid to play instead of paying to play
Hunters creek
No rain for month - but the fairways were 80% dirt
Greens were OK
TLC
A wonderful layout that needs a lot of love$! Tee boxes awful, fairways the same and greens inconsistent. When I arrived at clubhouse I found they had no golf balls or gloves to sell at all. The guy that checked me in went and found a few balls from cart barn. This golf course could be very successful if it were taken care of of. Played here 10 years ago and it has not changed
Great
Awesome golf course. No rush. Staff very friendly.
Good course poor condition at present
The course was very dry and greens being worked on
Love the layout and the course has always been one of my favourites
Would always play it but need to check condition
Needs rain
Course's greens are coming in and are looking nice. Fairways are gone, but that's expected with no rain. I would play again! I played the tips and loved the distance of the 7500 yards
Like playing in a dust bowl.
Browned out fairways, greens are a mess, just aerated the greens, which if you like seeing your ball bounce all over the place, this is your course. Pace of play is great because there is no one else there. I know it doesn't rain in the spring in Orlando, but other courses in the area fair way better.
Hunters Creek
The course is really in pretty poor shape. I have played this course many times and it's sad the condition it is currently. Many courses in the area are having problems without rain. Hopefully the course will improve throughout the summer. Don't think I'll be playing there for a couple of months until it improves. It was once a really great course. The staff however have always been great. Very friendly and helpful.
Dry conditions
Needed water. Great layout. Dry conditions forced no watering.
Awful!!!
Booked through golf now with no notice of aeration on the greens that had been done a few weeks prior. Had we have known, we definitely would have chosen a different course. However after driving 30 minutes we decided to just go ahead and play. The pictures of the course on golf now entirely misrepresent the course. Almost 90% of all the holes are lined with either busy roadway or newly built low income apartments only feet off of the fairways. It's interesting listening to extremely loud Mexican music while on the fairway. Worse yet, on four occasions residents were either using the cart path as a sidewalk between apartment buildings, playing soccer in the middle of the fairway, or walking their dogs along the green. At one point there was a group of 8 people who walked onto a par 3 green with a cooler and a bag of clubs. After standing on the tee box for 10 minutes we yelled and they finally noticed us waiting. In which case they moved to the side of the green and waved for us to go ahead and hit. As we approached for our putts, they continued to stand on the green and talk. No respect for paying golfers. In regards to the condition of the course, the greens were in horrid shape. The edges were completely void of grass, instead there was a hard pack of sand as "filler" which then had a significant ridge to actual grass. Most of the tee boxes were far from flat. There were multiple sand traps that had weeds and grass growing in them. One sand trap surrounding a green, in particular, looked like a truck had driven back and forth through it. It was filled with foot deep ruts. The fairways were in nice shape. But between the ugly and loud surroundings, very poor greens and sand traps, I would 100% say this was the worse experience I have ever had at a course.
Good value challenging course.
Really good value with buggy included in price. Course bit brown due drought and odd green bit tatty around edges. We played it before flying home. It's close to airport and a good challenge, long holes, traps and tight greens. Staff very friendly. Quite busy so was a bit slow but overall an enjoyable round of golf.
I wouldn't play this course for free!
I would not recommend this course to anyone. The greens were the worst I have I seen in all of central florida due to the fact that every one of them had a ring of sand about 2 feet wide around the outer rim of each. Save your time and money and play somewhere else.
