Hunter's Creek Golf Club

The rain earlier in the week left the course very soggy. Probably should have been cart path only. Some cowboys really spun their tires on the fairway.
Could have been warned that all flags were at the back. Outside of that, it was a good course to play. the conditions stopped my ball a few times when I should have into some bad stuff.

Came out around noon and got on with two other singles ahead of tee time even though the course was quite busy. Practice greenwas pretty rough but playable greens putted fairly true. I like the layout and clued was in decent shape.

from the non existent quality food (from frozen ) breakfast bar to the poor state of fairway / greens this was ONCE a great course. perhaps perhaps one day it could again be.

The greens were re extremely poor.

The course needs some money spent on it and then it would be very good but at the moment it is in very poor ondition.

The course is not maintaned as well as it was in previous years. It was ok for the price in golf now but I would never pay full price here. Some Greens were rough, some fairways a bit long or bare, here and there .
Stuck behind a 3 some that held up the whole course. Called the club house to send out a Marshall, but they didn't. Short staffed.

This course is a great value. Some greens are in poor condition, but the course layout is excellent. Very pretty, playable and challenging. Would definitely play here regularly if I lived in the area.

Need to keep to the fairway or take lots of balls, the grass just off fairway is quite long and really thick swallows your ball up and marks it impossible to find. Manage to hit and stay on fairways every shot the course isn't too bad
Unfortunately the restaurant is something else both times I've played there this year I've been told sorry chefs off today and the only thing on the menu is hotdogs and I've had better.....limited on drinks oo we were told milk and sugar was rashioned and could only see the single bottle of sailor jerry behind the bar ,although staff very friendly and couldn't stop apologising .

Other than one green not being in good shape, the course was very playable and at a good price.

I was a little disappointed in the condition of the course. Staff was great. Great starter course.

The greens need work and the rough in certain areas is not cut. Tee boxes are not level and and barely have grass. In this area I expected a little more out of this place. I played back in 2011 and it was a little better back then but still not in my top 25 for this area. So many other good courses in the area for same money.

For the price we paid today was a good deal to start our week in Orlando. Always enjoy playing here but greens need some help, speed ok but to many rough areas.

I hadn't played here in a few years, but we stayed across the street over Christmas so I tried it again. Hunter's Creek used to be a beautiful track, and could be again, but it just seems tired. Some holes (#2 especially) need a total overhaul, but a lot of them are still fun and challenging. They need to have a faster way to get food at the turn (don't show up and order, it will be 20 minutes) and to keep the locals off the 17th fairway. The staff is still great, and it's still a worthwhile loop, but it needs some love.

Great course for the money pace was slow and 2 greens in rough shape the rest of the greens were slow.

The only reason I finished 18 holes is because I didn't have a ride to leave. What a dump. Fix your greens and mow the grass. Level out the tee boxes. Poor all the way around.

Yes, this course is cheap, but there is a reason. while fairways were in decent shape with a few brown spots, the greens were in poor shape and even though they weren't aerated recently, they were still pock-marked as if aerated yesterday. There is water, but it never comes into play and it seems none of the players ever rake the bunkers after their shot. We got overpriced rentals, and we were told they were Taylor Mades, but when we got them, we got 1 set of Adams (a brand I haven't seen since the 90's) and a set made by "Vanquish" (never heard of 'em). Definitely not the Taylor Mades they promised as justification for the expensive rental price. Didn't even get full sets, for irons, only got the 6-9, P, & S. I mentioned this to the pro shop and he tried to convince me that makes a full set. Obviously he didn't know what a full set was.

Overall, there is a reason there was a cheap price and based on the course conditions and the offer to play the course a second time around for $1 (which we rejected), I don't expect this course will be able to survive much longer.

Played this course twice this week and had a great front 9 steady pace good fun but a 4ball and a single jumped on the back nine even though we were coming through we waited for 20 mins and when we complained to the starter he just said go round the front 9 again. We were disappointed but decided it would be quicker than waiting. We went back again a few days later and tried again, the same thing happened, when we got to the 10th there was a queue waiting to tee off even though we had no one ahead of us on the front 9, so if you want to pay to play 18 but only play the front 9 twice, this is the course for you, I've played this course for a few years but won't be going back again.

This is a very fun course. It has multiple tee boxes so good for all levels. Greens and fairway are great the rough is all Bermuda so it is tough to play out of it. So stay in the fairway! Staff is very friendly and very nice. You should have a great time here. Especially at golf now prices.

Play the correct tees and the course is very playable.I played a combination of senior and regular tees just for a challenge.No parallel fairways.Condition of the course not terrific,but very acceptable.The price was easy on the wallet.Greens were slow.Traps needed more rakes.

Great course layout but the greens left a bit to be desired.
