Hunter's Creek Golf Club

Hunters Creek is a nice course. It was in fair condition on the date I played. Tee boxes and fairways were ok but the greens were a little rough but playable. Staff were friendly pace of play was very good 5 sets of tees to choose from so something for everyone.

Greens were not in as good a condition as a lot of other courses. Some of the greens had bare spots.

I was very impressed with the course. It tests your ability to play a wide asortment of shots. There is quite a few holes with water hazards and sand bunkers. It was a very enjoyable day. Pace of play was a little on the slow side and the course was very busy. I would recommend everyone to play this course more than once.

The last time I played this course I said I would not got back as the course was in a shocking state. So what's changed in 3 years? First the good things... Staff where great and the fairways in good shape... Now the not so good. there was hardly any grass on the driving range. All the tee boxes where in very poor condition and all of them where uneven, and had turf missing. The green where slow, I mean really slow. The condition of the greens generally improved as we completed the round. There where clumps of wet cuttings on all of them, does the groundsman know how to empty the grass box on the front of his mower. But I am afraid the second green should be condemned. Well it's not a green..... I have played on better greens in Scotland where the groundsmen are the local sheep... Shocking. So would I go back.... NO. there are better courses locally for the same money, but if your looking for somewhere close and are a very high handicapper, then knock your self out.

Last played here two years ago. Things have gone down hill since. Course in poor condition. Greens very poor, fairways moderate and tee boxed poor. Bunkers in even worse shape. Will not be rushing to return however accepting that we paid $30 only I can live with the state of the course but would suggest that paying more for a round here would be ill advised.

Haven't played this course for a few years, as reviews have not been good. With a few more staff doing some outdoor maintenance, this could be the nicest course around. The layout is great and conditions were good, except greens were long to allow for in-fill. Slow play, as no ranger to keep the ONE slow group moving ahead of us. Price of beer and dogs was not nearly as cheap ($5) as all other courses in the Orlando area.
Great deal for the conditions! Would play her again.

It is has player friendly layout. Staff was friendly and helpful. A few of the greens were not in top shape though most were fine. A good value for the cost.

The layout of the course wasn't bad, it was rather boring but that's about average for Florida courses. The tee boxes were not in good shape, not even at all and the grass was a little...odd. The fairways were in good shape, the rough was the same as other Florida area courses. Hard to find your ball but that isn't the fault of the course, it's just the rough down here. My main complaint, the greens were horrid. They were unbelievably slow and the grass was long! It got to the point where we weren't even trying on the greens because of how bumpy they were and how hard you had to hit every putt. Overall, the course has potential, it's a fun little course, but the greens and tee boxes need work.

Played this course today as a 3 some. Great pace of play for us as we were 3rd off tee. We loved the layout but FOLKS....MOW YOUR ROUGH'S AND GREENS!!!!! We lost balls that were a foot off the fairway. Ruff was easily 6" tall. We lost well over a dozen balls just off the fairway. Speed of play will speed up a lot too if you just mow.....MOW...........
Regarding the greens, MOW........they were ridiculously tall. This course has some potential but on this day, it was lacking. I'd like to play it again, but not like this.

This is a nice change of pace and location course. It is reasonably priced and worth the time to play. It is challenging and will help you to see your flaws and improve your game.
Also, the greens play well and are fairly fast.

The course was in great shape. Staff were courteous and welcoming. I booked on GolfNow and the price was $25. Good place to play in the Orlando area and especially great for a round of golf in warm weather before departures north to the COLD!

Poor T boxes, poor greens , it's a public course and that's what you get and at 25 dollars it's not even worth that , 10 dollars would be the correct price for the worst course I have played in orlando. And I wouldn't even pay that.

Fairways dry. Tee boxes very dry. Many bunkers were hardpack. Ok for the price

Hunters Creek is well worth the value, however the greens need a wee bit of attention. Somewhat challenging. Great course overall. Worth the drive.

I found the course to be very good, although two or three greens were in need of repair. Overall, the fairways and greens were in great condition.

Down on vacation and it is a very good value fairways and greens were in good condition however the tees need work very uneven and bare but it's a fun course and it won't break the bank especially for budget conscience golfers

Staff is good but think they should have set up groups. Very slow play as a foursome led followed by a twosome a single then another twosome and then a threesome. Ready golf was apparently an unknown concept. Haven't played on two many Friday afternoons maybe that is the norm.

I like this course for quality the price, and best place near my condo

This course has its ups and downs as far as conditions. Currently they are on an up swing as majority of the course does have green grass minus three of the greens. This is a great course if you want to get out for a cheep round and play a good layout. The greens all have grass now but they are very slow. Just remember when you are out there that there is a reason they charge $20 when courses with better conditions charge $75.

I had heard that the greens were in bad condition, today they were not, except for one. Certainly they had improved. However, not a fast as they should be. May be they should be cut more after further improvement. Friendly course, not too difficult.
One major drawback, several of the bunkers were in bad condition, may be because of the terrible rain the day before??
