Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Horrible...
Not even one green was in good condition. Worse yet, around 5 to 6 holes did not even have a greet at all, they just cut the grass lower on a spot close to the rough area and put a hole and a flag. This was even worse then a bad green. It was just horrible over all. The course layout has always been great, only if maitnance would be up to par this place would be beautiful as it was before. Too much money for what you get. This has nothing to do with Coronavirus, they dont even have restrictions placed. Remington Golf Club for example has better conditions, better service and for a fraction of the cost. Hunters Creek will never be like before unless a new company that cares run it. R.I.P Hunters Creek Golf Club...
Need to Invest the money back into the course, couldn’t tell if you were putting on the green or in the fairway.. rather put from the sand traps
Course needs a lot of work
I just played here on 11/24/20 and I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all. At least for a few months. No notes or comments saying how 75% of theirs greens are relocated into the fairway ( putting in rough basically ) and the other 20% of the greens are heavily sanded down and has craters all over and there the 5% of greens that are pretty good but they have like a crab grass all over that ruin a putt. I’m extremely disappointed we had to pay full price to play a course in that bad of a condition. Besides the horrible greens and mess of fairways the layout of the course is beautiful it just needs a lot of attention and love. The staff are pretty friendly but there’s nothing in the pro shop.
Poor conditions. Grab grass every where. 6 holes with unplayable greens
Greens in Very poor condition 5 of them none existing. Very poor conditions but lay out is nice
You get what you pay for
The greens are the worst I have ever seen. Nothing but crab grass and sand cover them. It looks like they’ve just given up managing the course but it has a lot of potential.
They fixing it up!
had to write another review after the first time i played here. looks they are finally doing improvements to the course. few of the greens are under repair looking like they are gonna re-sod them! that’s good news to me! also all the roughs have been brought down a lot! i hope they keep this up and bring this course back up to “par”!
Horrible
If you enjoy being bitten by red ants while putting, this is the course for you! The greens that weren’t full of dead grass and sand had weeds and bumps. Fairways were decent, but the tee boxes were sloppy. No yardage markers anywhere. Horrible course. Seems like new management needs to take over because this course seems to have been forgotten for the last 10 months
Great fun
The round was fun Course was wide open no waiting and a great value. We are going to play there again soon
Good value but...
But that’s about it. Course condition has gone down considerably since the last time I played here 1-2 years ago. Bunkers overgrown with grass, bald spots on greens that have no defined edge. Back 9 has a considerable number of residents from the nearby apartment buildings strolling the cart paths, and fairways, groups of kids on bikes have no regard for the course and have turned it into their own private playground. One kid stole my ball off the green on #13.
It’s an ok course for a beginner to get out there, not crowded and the staff is friendly... but probably not worth it for most.
Shelton
We have played hunters court previously a couple years ago we thought we’d give us a second chance the round we had today was the greens were terrible along with the tea boxes
You get what you pay for
Fun course and layout is nice. But it’s unfortunate they take minimal care of this course. Sand trap have grass growing out of them. Greens tons of crab grass and dirt. Then they have some sort of soccer golf throughout the course, it’s holes on the sides of the course with flags large enough for soccer balls. But for $35 I guess that makes it even. I’d play again as long as the price is low def not spending spending more than $30 to play here considering the conditions. Nice layout though
Terrible
All greens were terrible... either had no grass surface or very patchy...bunkers were unplayable as they had vegetation growing throughput. One good point was fairways were very good shape. Nice layout . Asked staff for a pin placement and the sheet they gave us was totally off?.
A Victimized Course
Visiting Orlando and wanted to get a quick round in. I don’t know the history of this course, but it seems like it is one of the hundreds of victimized courses.
What was good? The price. I found a $16 hot deal. Staff was friendly. Called about my wife riding and Matt didn’t charge me. I played in under 3 hours because the place was empty, I went on a Wednesday. Course layout is awesome and has a lot of character.
What was bad? Condition of course was pretty bad. Fairways, tee boxes, bunkers and greens all begging for help. I invoked a 2 putt rule on most of the greens. But, for $16 I wasn’t upset.
If you can find a hot deal under $20 and looking to go out and beat the ball around, I would recommend playing here. If you are looking to shoot a score, find a different course.
