Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Great layout but the course needs some TLC.
Really nice layout but the greens are generally awful and the bunkers are unkempt and should be considered GUR. The staff is great and trying but until conditions improve I can't recommend playing here.
The course is in disrepair
The course is in very poor condition. The greens are in terrible shape. The traps have weeds and mud.
Horrible Condition.
I agree with the recent reviews. This course has gone down-hill fast. Shaggy all over; difficult to distinguish the fairways from rough; greens were mostly dirt; sand traps unkept and full of weeds; weeds all over course. This course has lost my business forever. No way this is a 3-star course. Play elsewhere!
Course has gone down in quality for sure
This course used to be beautiful and well kept, now there is grass growing in the bunkers. The fair ways are rough and the rough is really rough. For the price they are charging this course is not it anymore.
Golf at its worst
Course was in terrible condition. Only 6 or 7 greens had grass on them. Most were just dirt . Bunkers had to be played as ground under repair. No sand and lots of weeds. Only good thing was that it played quick. 2 putts on greens and pick up. Didn't encounter a green with grass on the back nine until 16.
Worse course for the money
The cost of play was $31 and for this I got terrible conditions. The greens were anything but! I have never played such poor greens. The fairways were playable but again in awful condition. The sand traps were anything but as they had more green in them than some of the greens! I spook to the person in the pro shop about my disappointment and all he had to say was that he agreed the course was in terrible condition but offered no refund or anything other than a blank stare. I will never play there again
Horrible conditions
Greens are a joke! Sand patches everywhere in the greens, grass burnt out. Bunkers full of weeds. Rough two feet high. Save your money and play anywhere else.
How is this place open
Horrible maintenance. Rough was u cut for what seemed like a month. Bunkers were overgrown with weeds. Couldn’t put because of all the weeds on the green. Place needs to be completely renovated. They should pay you to have to play there. Would never go back.
prepare to lose a lot of balls
the rough was crazy dense and high. if you hit any balls into the rough it’s almost impossible to find them. really needs to be maintained
Needs work!
Greens are in bad shape, dirt patches through-out. Traps are overgrown with grass.
the course is in terrible conditions. crash isn't cut, the green is basically a sand trap. Just terrible. I will never play at this course again, it truly embarrassing.
Not worth the $25
The rough is unplayable, greens are weedy, sand traps have grass growing in them and fairways are pitted.
Good Value
Greens are in bad shape and mowing around fairways is minimal. For $25, it was a good value; I got what I paid for!
Poor conditions - hard pass
I know this course was recently sold and it shows. Horrible condition. Long grass, really bad greens and sand traps are either lakes or hardened over with weeds. No way I will be playing here again. Lost more balls to long grass than I care to admit.
Sad to See
As a member, and resident who lives on the course, I find the conditions to be totally embarrassing and unacceptable. Mother nature is doing her best to keep the course in playable condition with daily showers, but those will soon be diminished. The fairways are in pretty good shape, overall, but there are some spots near the greens that are turning to hardpan. The greens, once lush and quick, are slowly starting to deteriorate. All the green side bunkers, and many of those in the fairway, are devoid of sand and are now full of weeds. They all should have a white line painted around them and identified as Ground Under "dis" Repair!! The rough is horrible. With the limited number of maintenance personnel, and the amount of rain we're getting, they have no chance to keep up with proper mowing. The new owner, Park Square, has done nothing to improve the condition of this once proud course. Based on the fact that there are still only 5 maintenance personnel, some of whom have been here forever, and the equipment fails on a regular basis, its doubtful that the owner has any intention of making improvements. I'll be interested to see what happens if the equipment lease expires this coming December. The grill is closed so there is no real opportunity for a post round libation. The beverage cart operates regularly, but with limited inventory. The staff is friendly and courteous, but most often there is only one employee handling everything from booking and check-in, to cart retrieval and all other outside services duties. Sad to See!
