Oak Quarry Golf Club

Excellent day and excellent course. Felt like a CC due to the low number of rounds being played at the time. I wonder if the price limits play intentionally or is not sustainable. Hole numbers have been changed, but markers unclear.

Over the past 10 years, I've played Oak Quarry

several times per year. It's been 3 years since I last played because I've move to Rancho Mirage. The course itself is in excellent condition. The golf carts need to be turned in promptly as they are showing their age. There was confusion regarding the hole we were playing. For example, course signage said old hole #10 was hole #12 and the scorecard also said it was #12. Number 11 signage was in a strange place. It was very confusing!

The course really needs to Clearly mark the back nine paths to the next tee as several others who played that day were lost. Had it not been someone who pointed out the next tee we would have been lost too!

Man what a beautiful course, I've heard a lot of good things about this course and we were so happy that everything we heard was true,a great day..and I made par on the rock

Played there on Friday 5/16 with my normal crew. Course was in great shape. A lot of challenging holes sometimes very shot specific holes for course management. The greens were fast with a lot of angulation. The restaurant in the clubhouse has good food for after the round. Very scenic course!

The markings of many holes are unclear. Hope the logo will be improved.

This course is a gem. The spectacular views are stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the hole signs. They were misleading and difficult to read. Most of the hole numbers were missing. Hole 9 and 10 were hard to find. No directions signs. Otherwise, I’m going to come back often.

Poor services no cart refreshments, course signage was very poor.

Great golf course but these sand traps are absurd. I guess its called stone sand? Im a 2 HCP played over 300 courses and never seen anything like this. The sand is super thick grains like mini stones and soft but super dense, literally impossible to get out of clean and I am typically a very good sand player. The sand here is an issue, unlike anything ive ever seen

This is an excellent golf course, only issue and I repeat its a major issue, what is up with the sand in these bunkers. I am a 2 HCP golfer who typically is quite good out of sand traps. I found myself in the sand here 3 times and immediately was shook when I stepped in. The sand is extremely unique, really large grains (like mini stones) very soft but super dense. Ive probably played over 300 golf courses in my time, never seen anything like this, extremely challenging to get out of this type of sand and very frustrating the sand is like this because makes me not want to go back if each time im in the sand, I'm gonna add 1-2 strokes even though im a good bunker player. Other then this its an excellent golf course.

Great course and great price for a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely come back if I ever get these discounts again. Course set up is challenging but not impossible. Fun course. Needs better signage for the new layout - was confusing on playing the correct holes, starting with #9. Course marshal needs to keep pace moving as we encountered a few slow downs throughout the round with groups ahead. Ready golf should be enforced

Overall a beautiful course and in nice shape. Greens were fast but fair and rolled well. Only issue is pace of play I left without out playing 18 at 330pm mind you we tee’d off at 1024am. The marshal was seen once but never addressed the folks that were out of position
