Pace of Play
The course is magnificent and fun to play. Realizing that we were teeing off at 3:30 pm it would be a bit slow. Unfortunately slow was not the word for it.
We were playing behind a NWMS Football Tournament. We were behind the last two players and watched many golf etiquette rules being broken.
These two gentleman were driving their cart right up to the front of the green, parking and finishing the hole.
These two were waiting until the foursome in front were almost on the green before they hit. Most of their drives didn't go more than 100 yards.These two were also hitting two to three balls on every hole! It was brutal!
On hole number 12, par five, my son smoked a drive over the sand traps and the ball should have been in the middle of the fairway.
When we get up the ball was gone. We figured they took it.
Again, great course, but it sure was a long day!
Always Great
Cart path only. The course still played fair. Very wet from storms. Well worth the price I paid.
Amazing Public Course
This is one of my favorite public courses. It is perfectly maintained, the staff is friendly and the golf is outstanding.
Hidden Gem, great value
Easily one of the best courses around, great condition, fun design, pristine greens. Couldn't recommend this course any more
Reputation Meets Reality
We got rained out for a birthday round in July so we made a jaunt up before it gets too cold. Very impressed! Fast greens. Fairway and rough were nice. Wind is a beast up there so it is challenging, near the water especially. Beautiful course but it ate our lunch though.
