Starter was rude
Was in the club house in line at 8:35am for my tee time after getting skipped in line by the group behind us for there tee time at 9am we patiently waited checked in and got the cart and went to the starter in which we were stuck behind the 9 am group who drove slowly where we could not get passed them to get to the starter. That group then tried to go out early which is when we told the starter we are the 8:42 tee time. He then said 8:42 tee time showing up at 8:48 very rudely when it was 8:46. After the starter rudely told us to “get on” we drove up to our tee box and still had to wait for the group in front of us to clear the fairway. So the 4 minutes of us being late made no difference whatsoever. Understandably there is no scenario where being late is ok but we all were there in a timely manner and was skipped rudely and slowed down by the 9 am tee time we would have been there at exactly tee time. The starter seemed to have a problem with us being a younger group in which we are avid golfers with plenty of golf experience. I will not be coming back and or suggesting it to any of my peers as long as that starter is working there which is a shame because the course was one of my favorites. I would suggest a more friendly starter or one who doesn’t judge people without knowing them.

Nice round
Some challenging holes, lots of large bunkers and some water. Would definitely recommend, challenging but not in a way that makes you want to quit golf lol

Course was on point
Lil slow in afternoon, couple groups ahead of us needed a refresher in golf etiquette. Thanks to the ranger for pushing them. Course was in great condition, greens consistent. Really enjoyed the round.

REALLY Bad Shape Sand Traps
The sand traps would be bad if this was a $40 municipal course. Considering I paid almost $100 this was really disappointing! There are a lot of bunkers on this course so they are meant to be a significant feature of the layout which means a lot of this course is in unplayable shape. Giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are under repair but in that case there should be a reduced rate, just like many courses do after greens are aerated. It really was THAT bad.

Sand Traps
No sand in bunkers; essentially washed out with no appearance of any attempt by the grounds crew to maintain them.

Sand traps need TLC and a little pricey
Would’ve been a five star review but sand traps were hard as concrete and there weren’t any rakes available to fluff and replace. Everything else was perfect and well maintained. For $90 I would’ve expected well groomed bunkers.
