Terrible Course
Course was in terrible condition. Ground under repair everywhere on fairways and greens. Greens were in awful shape and had bumps everywhere. I’ll never play this course again.
Great golf outing at Olde Sycamore!
I reserved a tee time on GolfNow for a Wednesday golf outing at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation. This was my 1st time playing there and Dad and I loved it!!! The layout was great!! Easy to find the next hole and carts were clean. The course is in excellent condition! The pace of play was fast!!!! Dad and I played in 3 hours!!!! The price was more than fair!!! I would come back again and recommend everyone to play this course. I shot an 89 from the white tees for my 1st time playing there. I would definitely like to go back and play the course again.

Greens a little beat up do to golfers not repairing there marks on green from approach shots.

Very good value
Great layout. Generous of the tee however placement will dictate the difficulty of your approach. Greens are well protected and the ball. You need to fly it to the flag to have reasonable birdie try. Fairways were well maintained, bunkers are packed tight and greens were smooth and true. A little on slow side so give it a full stroke.
I will definitely play again.

Discrepancy between Golfnow and the course
My reservation clearly states that I reserved and paid for a twilight rate. At the course, I was only allowed to play 9 as the Pro Shop said that I paid for 9 holes. $40 for 9 holes.

Not as good as normal
So, two comments. First, we were obviously behind an outing of people who were not typically golfers. We waited on virtually every shot from hole 1 thru hole 15. Then, apparently the outing was over because the last three holes were wide open. There was a ranger out and I assume he was doing his best but my guess is that the outing was pretty big for the course. Just made it hard to get into a flow. Second, the bunkers need some sand. Really hard packed, especially green side.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. 1st time, loved the course, staff at pro shop - excellent!
Beautiful course, my buddies and I enjoyed our round. The guy at the pro shop (didn't catch his name) was amazing - polite, professional and welcoming.
Only small negative is I felt the greens are a bit overwatered, balls plug which is ok but it does lead to quite a bit of "scarring" on the greens which takes away from the overall beauty of the course.
We are beyond happy to hear you enjoyed a great day at our course. Positive experiences make lifelong golfers.
