Course in good shape!
The course is in very good shape. Very much a target type golf course. I only used a driver on a couple of holes. I’d like to be able to hit a driver on par 4s.

First time playing here but not the last, playing next Monday using my last free round. The fairways are wide enough and bunkers well placed. Greens are quick and tiered,four sets of tee boxes so you can enjoy your round. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Tried and True
I love playing late day 9 on this course . It’s like an old friend . The greens are still in slight repair but no holes or dried spots so really looking great. Each time I have played I always have someone behind me hitting into me (and we are waiting for folks ahead of us so not playing slow)... that’s not the course’s fault but people need to wait until they SURE no one is in front of them :) All in all a wonderful course!

Big improvement
The greens are SO much better this spring than they were last summer. And, unlike most of the other courses in the Charlotte area, these greens are soft and can hold a shot. We had avery enjoyable round today, and a nice lunch afterwards.

Fantastic course
Enjoyed everything about this course. Great price, worth the amenities and course condition. Pace was slow, but not for lack of effort by the Starter and Marshal. Will definitely be back.

First time at Olde Sycamore
First time playing this course and it was a true delight. Fairways lined by tall trees and a layout that made me think hard about most shots.
They gave me a yardage book when I checked in, which was extremely helpful, especially off the tees. I played the Blue tees, which took the driver out of my hands about 50% of the time. Will try the tips next time.
Overall a very enjoyable round. I will definitely be back and may make this my primary course to play.

Not worth the price
Cost vs condition, just doesn't make sense. Premium price for mediocre greens and fairways. Other courses I've played of late, greens are perfect or very close. At sycamore they have a fair bit of a different type of grass taking over the greens, the greens were very slow. Public course so they contend with people not fixing pitch marks. Won't be playing here again anytime soon. Love the layout of the course.
