Olde Sycamore Golf Club

The course was in very good condition, especially with the extremely high temperatures we’ve had for several weeks.

The staff were very friendly.

All and all I’d love to play the course again when the heat index is much less than 105.

There is not a thing I would like to see change on this course, definitely one of my favorite I have played.

Hadn’t played here in a couple years due to pace of play and condition issues but decided to give it another try. As suspected it wasn’t just as bad before, but worse! A Monday 12:10 tee time took until SEVEN PM to finish. We called the shop multiple times asking to help speed up play and were told there is nothing they can do about it. If that is the case take the signs down around the course and in the carts about pace and repercussions of warnings when not keeping pace. On top of that you get to play a few near dirt greens and nearly all dirt tee boxes. Save your money

My son and I walked off the course after 13 holes. At that point we had played 4:20 minutes. The course had a charity event. It was readily apparent the majority of these patrons had never played golf. It was a 4 person scramble format. Absolutely ridiculous to take that long…period. At one point there were 5 groups on the 10th tee waiting.

Very dissatisfied in the pace of play. The proshop staff was understanding and provided two rain checks to play on a different date

The course is in good condition, and they are doing well with keeping it green despite the heat. BEWARE that they now add a 3% surcharge to use a credit card in the pro shop and restaurant. Hard to believe that a course that charges $100 for a round is concerned with card fees enough to make their Customers foot the bill. Needless to say this put a damper on my experience, to overpay for golf and then get hit with additional fees.

Greens and pace of play very slow. Out of half of their food menu. Scarce water and no bev cart on a 90+ degree weekend day. Semi-premium price for a great course layout and not much else.

The course was in fair shape. I like the layout. The staff is extremely friendly. I think a bit pricey for what you get. We played Saturday morning and the pace of play was terribly slow. (5 hours) Considering we started fairly early. (Before 9:00am). The food and service was very good.
