About
The Currituck Club has a Rees Jones-designed layout that stands out from other Outer Banks courses, mostly thanks to its ideal location along the Currituck Sound. The golf course shares the landscape with an abundance of wildlife including deer, osprey, geese, and turtles. Golfers might even catch a glimpse of an eagle soaring overhead. The layout tumbles across rolling sand dunes and combined with the seaside location, the golf course offers a true links feel that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. The diverse coastal terrain is covered with maritime forests and wetlands. The holes are both challenging and scenic, especially the seventh through the ninth, which sit right along the Sound. The golf course also finishes on the Sound with a scenic closing stretch. Playing The Currituck Club right at sundown will provide unrivaled views.

Super friendly staff
So it was my first time playing this course and was pleasantly surprised from all perspectives. I was especially pleased with how we were handled by the staff. We did a hot deal and were treated very well. Probably wouldn’t play it for the full rate, but would do it again in a heartbeat for the hot deal. Super convenient as well sine we were staying in walehead beach.

Nice course
First time in Outer Banks first time at this course. While the course was a little expensive it was very close to where we were staying for vacation and overall the course was in excellent condition would play it again especially if it was a little less expensive.

Course in best condition in last 3 summers!
Conditions were best we have seen in last 3 vacations in Corolla. Pace a bit slow but to be expected with volume. Greens were greatly improved. Recommend

Great Course - Legendary Architect Rees Jones Design
Staff here is great. From bag drop to clubhouse and restaurant. I played the course after a very recent aeration. The greens were a little sandy but rolled well. I really love the layout. The holes all vary around the natural terrain. Very playable. Worth checking out. You will enjoy it.

Best open to public course on the Outer Banks
Played the course for the first time in three years. Must say, the course conditions were nearly perfect and much improved since 2016. The grass on the fairways was a little thin but good for early May. The greens were firm and fast and extremely true. The collars were a little thin and will take some work to bring them to peak condition. The bunkers were full with clean sand and well racked. Overall, a most pleasant day of golf on a well conditioned and interesting course. We played Nags Head and Seascape in late April of this year and they were in nice shape but Currituck is far superior. As a senior I'd like to see the cart limit signs moved a little closer to the greens ... 60 yards vs 100 yards. A small thing but important during hot weather. And the starter and cart crew were extremely friendly and helpful.

Beautiful day and a great round. Very friendly staff, was a single and got paired with a twosome. Had a great time, pace of play on the front nine was.a bit slow but picked up on the back nine. Course was in good shape. Thanks for a good round.

Super day on OBX
First time playing the course, from the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs, all staff were extremely courteous and friendly and went out of their way to make our round top class. Course was in great shape, the rough hasn’t started to grow yet so errand tee shots were not so detrimental to scoring. Greens were true and very receptive to approach shots, a fact that the starter pointed out. Cannot say a bad thing about the course, staff or weather. Great experience and would have no reservations in playing here again or recommending to play. Top marks!!!
