Great value, course layout & service
The staff is always friendly, the course in good condition and great layout using the natural features of the NC foothills. Can’t beat the value. It’s a bit remote relative to the bigger cities in the area but the course and cost are well worth the drive.
It’s easily walkable but for those who prefer carts, as of May 2020, they have contemporary carts with GPS.
Nice Place
Best fairways around at this date. Greens fair shape with recent rain soft and slow, that will only get better. Nice carts with GPS, nice staff, nice facilities make this a course to put on rotation. Only negative would be layout with blind shot after blind shot with the par 4s with great par 3a and 5s. I recommend this course which is a challenge for anyone.
No distancing
Fairways were the best part, greens were extremely inconsistent with pace and patchy, that didnt bother me a huge deal, HOWEVER with the virus going on there were absolutely no space while playing groups were right on top of you even thou you were waiting to hit also...parking lot was less than half full so I assume they had everyone that was playing on top of one another at one time there were between 6 and 10 waiting on the same tee to hit. This was very unacceptable and I quit finally on hole 12 I had enough. I've never quit a round before in my life and I'm in my 50s.
Always nice
One of the best courses around. They take care of the course and have the nicest golf carts ever! Greens are always true.

A good well maintained course. The staff is very friendly. The new gps golf carts ate nice. The greens are true.
Course in great shape
My friends and I had a great time with near perfect conditions. Whish it was closer so we could play more often

Winter Conditions
Course played very long from the white tees because of recent rains and gusting winds. There wasn't much difference in distance from the blues and whites. Greens were a bit bumpy but that's to be expected. It's the 2nd time I've played here and will go back for sure. I really like the layout.
GREAT BUT WET
Our foursome teed off at 11:45. The course had received an inch of rain the night before. It was cart path only. We let a threesome play through. We completed our round at 4:30. Playing from 2 tee boxes. Greens were true and rolled good. Staff are welcoming and are GolfNow Friendly. Excellent grill and bar. Number two, six, eight and nine greens, have to be below the hole. Above and it’s an extra stroke. Will play again and will recommend this course to all.
