Greens
This course has had the worst greens for the last three years I have lived in Fayetteville. Not worth the price at all.
Really crappy greens
The greens were more sand than green. It was very apparent that they hadn’t been maintained in a long time
Poor greens
The greens are in poor condition, but the rest of the course is great shape!
Nice course
Overall, the course was nice. Beautiful surroundings. Only thing I have negative is the greens are patchy and need repaired.
Greens
The greens were among the worst I have ever seen.... it literally looks like someone sprayed weed killer on all 18 greens and there are craters everywhere ... not once did I have a non jumping putt even inside 3 feet....
Would be nice to have a sign or something that says Greens are under construction or something.... absolutely pathetic!!!
Fun
It’s a dang fun course, if the greens get better it would be a super nice place. Always a good time tho don’t let the greens make you feel less
Very disappointed
I’ve played this course for a few years now and it saddens me to see how it’s consistently gone downhill to the point of heartbreak. The greens were nothing shy of horrible. They were very rough and bumpy not to mention the bare dirt spots. It looks like between poor drainage and fungus, they just need to be redone from scratch. The tee boxes were basically dirt. The golf carts had HUGE holes in the seats. I’ve played backwoods municipal courses that were a million times better. The grounds keeping staff didn’t care if you were on the tee box or not, they literally drove across the fairway in the middle of my swing! The gentleman in the clubhouse (that was not a pro shop) was too busy on the phone to actually talk to me. Overall the worst golf experience I’ve had in a really long time. Very disappointing because I used to love playing this course.
First and Last
Very friendly staff and fairly cheap, however you get less than what you pay for. The course conditions are awful. Between the dead grass fairways, destroyed greens, and “rough” that’s shorter than the fairways and are practically clay it’s impossible to determine how to play each shot especially considering the ball will roll an additional 20+ yards after impact with any club including putter due to course conditions.
Yellowstone
It felt like I should’ve been on a horse with hat and boots on. Course would be and was nicer a couple of seasons ago. Simply cutting the fairways and letting all else live on. Greens were terrible and TEE boxes were bunkers! Don’t recommend unless you’re on a cattle run, then let em’ graze!
Spring is here and we’ve had a rainy winter, but now it’s time to work on the Tee boxes fairways and greens. Weeds are getting out of hand
Really OK Course
This course is sorta short but always fun to play. Challenging holes throughout the course. Not worth the charged price.
