Stallion Mountain Golf Club
About
Stallion Mountain Golf Club is conveniently situated just minutes from the Strip, but this Las Vegas golf course feels much further away thanks to a scenic landscape of towering, mature pines and six sparkling lakes. Over the years the course has hosted several major events including Frank Sinatra's Celebrity Classic and Las Vegas Invitational. It has a versatile layout that offers plenty of variety and shot values, which makes it appealing for a range of different skill levels. The par 4s and par 5s require long, accurate drives but the approach shots will test your iron game. The golf course also features undulating fairways lined with bunkers and water hazards come into play on 10 holes. In addition to the golf course, Stallion Mountain boasts a comprehensive practice facility that includes a 16-acre driving range with 40 tees, five practice putting greens, two chipping greens, and two practice bunkers.

Golfer Reviews
Stallion Mountain Review 9-10-26
I had the opportunity to play this course when I was out in Vegas at a Conference. I chose it for its location and price and I must say it did not disappoint.
The course was in good condition though I know the weather had taken its toll on the grass in the fairway though it was still in good conditions to play.
Staff was extremely friendly and nice to us the entire time. Sadly, there was no cart girl at that time but when you take into consideration that there were not a lot of tee times on the books, it makes sense to not have one out there on that day.
Their GM, Danny, was above all the best (but the cart boy and bar girls were awesome too :)). As being one of the last tee times, we got to talk with Danny and learn about the work he has done for the course and as someone who also works at a golf course part time, I understand the work he puts into making Stallion Mountain a great course to play.
I will definitely consider coming back to this course next time I am out here and would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to play a good round of golf out here. Oh, and they do have Rentals. They are about $60, but you get a good set of Callaway clubs and some Callaway golf balls.
Surprisingly Good
The staff was great. We teed off on time amd git the day going right. I thought the course was in good shape especially with the summer heat. Fairways were a little long but expected with the heat. Greens were good and rolled well. Loved seeing the beverage cart multiple times on each nine and they were very friendly. Finished in the bar/restaurant. Cold beers and good food. Overall a great experience. The new owners have the course headed in the right direction. We will be returning!
Not Bad for Las Vegas in September
We played as a foursome. Myself, my wife, a visitor from England and a racist with his girlfriend from Las Vegas. This guy ruined the entire round because of his rude comments to everyone the entire day. Definitely not a team player, and his course etiquette was horrible. Nice course, but I hope I never see that thug ever again.
Beautiful Well Managed Course
Played an early morning round here and loved it. The course is in great shape. The staff manages the course well with pair ups and minor tee time changes.
Course is challenging but has tees for everyone and it was a lot of fun.
Greens were very slow and the cups looked like they hadn’t been changed in weeks.
Hidden Gem
The course was well maintained, mostly green, a challenging but fair layout, and overall a pleasure to play. Whatever maintenance issues existed in the past have been fully resolved. The Pro Shop is also run by some of the most honest people you'll ever meet. I left my passport with a stack of cash in a golf cart and an hour later it was returned to me intact.
Still improving
The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The rough was a bit tall but not bad. The greens are still being worked on but are better than 6 months ago. The greens will probably take at least another year to recover. Still a good value for the money. Staff is great.
