Wedgefield Golf Club

The course has a good layout but with lush fairways & slow greens it played very long! There are a few hidden hazards that players familiar with the course would know to avoid. Pace of play was ok - slow the front nine as a group of obvious beginners struggled with the course but thankfully they only played nine holes. Pace of play for the back nine was much better. A course I'd play again on future trips.

I have been playing the course for last few years and Craig has done wonders. He. Is truly in love with the property and it shows. It is so satisfying to watch the transformation. Step by step from Tee to green that course has become one of my favorites in the area.

We played there on 10/02/26 and at the end of the first nine, there was rain that prohibited continuation of play. Inquired about a rain check there and the staff said I would need to get a credit from GolfNow. I have researched this on the GolfNow site and did not find a means of getting a credit for the 9 holes not played for my group of 3 players. What it the policy for rain checks at GolfNow, or is this the responsibility of the course being played?

This is one of the best kept courses in the area and is definitely worth it. Greens were in excellent shape.

The course is in playable condition, but a little expebsive for that what you get.

It is hard to find a decent course in an affordable price range for central Florida. The greens are excellent, something nearby courses severely lack. The tee boxes and fairways were also well maintained. This course prioritizes keeping things nice and playable. No way to blame course/green conditions for your play here.

Highly enjoyed my round here. Conditions are very good and better than most other local courses close by. I dont remember seeing a single dry/dirt patch in fairways and the greens were perfect, a little slow, but not a weed or anything in sight. The course does have houses but they should not come into play. If they do then they have a range you should try out. Not as much water trouble as most other central florida courses. No complaints about rough or bunkers, they play how they should.

I recommend this course and I'll gladly be back in the future.

Not having play here in years, I was very surprised at the course conditions - greens excellent, fairways lush and rough was ruff so you needed to stay in the fairway! I'll be going back soon!!

course in good shape and some greens were sanded but still rolled true. Bunkers need sand and rough swallows up your ball if you miss the fairway. Played tips and had some challenging but fair holes.

i would always recommend this course but not this time the back nine was awful very wet

Love the way the course is laid out. Two negatives: no course Marshall and one is needed. Second negative: greens need to be maintained yo a higher standard. Overall, I enjoy the course!!

Most of the greens were in great condition but slow. Only two holes had water and mud problems even with all the rain we've had. Pace of play was great. l finished in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
