Great course
Very friendly , service - oriented staff. I was greeted at the bag drop by a friendly staff that unpacked my clubs from a travel bag and valeted the car. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The course was great- all maintained - we played 18 in less than 4 hours. The food was great afterwards. They also had a fun game on 18- if you hit the green- your bet was doubled for clubhouse spending. Easy access from the strip. It’s a great course if you don’t want to travel all around. Great views. I would highly recommend the experience. (They do have a small netted range off mats- I mean - probably the only minor negative)
Nice but not great.
We had just completed playing golf courses in Mesquite on a Five day golf trip. Was very excited to play Bali Hai. With temperatures in the high 90’s, low 100’s the courses in Mesquite all provided water for the golfers. Bali Hai was by far the most expensive course we played, yet they still charged $5 per bottle of water with no other water available on course. Course conditions were nice but not great. The staff was amazing though. Clubhouse was very nice. Everyone in our group agreed this course is a one and done for us as it was pretty basic for the rates they charged.
This course was nice and we had a great time. Pretty good layout, very nice and friendly staff and course conditions great. I read other reviews and most complained about the airplanes, which we didn’t think would be a problem. Turns out they were a little annoying, but the helicopters were worse. Several of the holes were cart path only which sucked in 100 degree weather. All that said we’d play again as long as we get the same rates from golfnow. The regular weekday rate is pretty steep compared to other beautiful courses around Vegas. But hey, it’s Vegas so I guess the rates match everything else.
Great round close to the strip.
Had a great round here. Was super early so the pace was great. Super enjoyable course setup - conditions were fantastic. Would recommend!
Noisy
Lots of planes fly over, other than that it was pretty nice
Pleasantly surprised in every way!
Chose Bali Hai to golf with my wife as she is not an avid golfer. So, expected the course to be a bit gimmicky and touristy…it was anything but. Staff was A1, facilities were A1, course was in great shape, was paired with two excellent partners. Never had anyone waiting behind us and we were never waiting for anyone in front of us…teed off at 1010. Range is a shortened facility (50 yards?), but perfect to warm up. Restaurant food is excellent and pro shop has an excellent selection! Make sure to pre-shop before your round so you can place the proper bet on #9!!!
Need more sand in the traps
Staff was wonderful. Great location. Fun course. Greens had just been puched and sanded so not green condition. Sand traps need more sand.
Great course right off the strip
The course set up was great. It’s located in a bowl so wayward shots tend to come back to the fairway ( or close). The greens were just dressed so putting was dismal. The wind blew 20+ mph so lost a few shots there. Just wish rates were a little better so I could play more than once.
Bad day
5 and a half hour round!
Almost 6.
Most unenjoyable golf ever!
Way overpriced.
The Par bunnies need to go!
Would not recommend for that money.
Airplanes
The airplanes were a bit much, could hear each other talking. Course was amazing and staff was great!
Tropical Oasis on the Neon Strip: A Review of Bali Hai Golf Club
Playing a round at Bali Hai Golf Club is less like a traditional day on the links and more like a high-stakes tropical getaway dropped right onto the Las Vegas Strip. As of Spring 2026, the course remains in immaculate shape with blisteringly fast greens and lush, palm-lined fairways that make you forget you're in the Mojave—until a Boeing 737 screams overhead or you catch a glimpse of Mandalay Bay looming over the bunkers. The experience is unapologetically "Vegas," featuring top-tier carts equipped with JBL speakers and a legendary island green on the 16th that practically begs you to dunk a sleeve of balls in front of the lunch crowd at Cili. While the lack of a full-flight driving range (it's hitting nets only) and the "resort-level" pricing might give some purists pause, the sheer convenience of being five minutes from the casino floor combined with the impeccable service makes it a must-play for anyone looking to balance a serious scorecard with a high-energy atmosphere.
A Tropical Golf Oasis in the Heart of the Strip
Playing Bali Hai Golf Club on April 2 with a friend was a standout experience, offering a stunning tropical escape right on the Las Vegas Strip. The course was in immaculate condition, featuring lush fairways and greens that were both fast and true, all framed by thousands of palm trees and striking white sand. A personal highlight was taking on the signature 16th hole, a memorable island green shot that required both precision and nerve. Between the professional service and the backdrop of the iconic Strip resorts, it is an absolute must-play for anyone looking for a premium golf experience in the heart of the city.
Disappointed
The course is next to the airport with planes landing every 20 minutes right overhead (300 feet above you) and the other side of the course is the freeway with billboards hanging over the rough in areas (I hit a billboard on a drive when just left over the cart path).
The driving range is a ghetto-looking and tired area with net covering - maybe 100ft long.
These are all fine if the course didn't cost $299 to play, but for $299 it's a joke.
Also, NO WATER provided along the course in 96 degree heat. But the course sold $5 12oz bottles of cheap grocery store water. Every course I've played in Las Vegas, Arizona, and Palm Springs - hot desert courses - ALWAYS has water stations. Frankly it's criminal for there to be no water when it's that hot. We ended up filling up one of the $5 water bottles we had to buy with water from the bathroom sink. At the course we paid $299 per person to play.
Bali Hai overcharges for a loud golf round with a janky driving range, and then still forces golfers to spend even more money for cheap water just to stay hydrated.
They don't care about the people coming to play there and they don't care if you come back.
Conveniently located on Strip, yes, and fairways and greens were in good shape; however I would never play here again and I have already told multiple friends that I would recommend they spend their money at any of the other nice courses around Vegas that care about the golfers.
