Trump National Doral Miami - Golden Palm Course

Currently the entire course seems to be having repairs on either the tee boxes or around them. Many of the greens need some attention. When you book the tee time, the pop up tells you that there’s one hole closed and one alternate green, but it is way more than that. I would wait until these updates are complete before booking a tee time again. I’m sure the other three are in way better condition.

I have played this course many times and this time we were advised that there were 2 holes under repair and 1 hole closed. Happens to be almost every hole under repair or in bad shape. My guests from out of town were disappointed to say the least as they had such high expectations from this golf course, flew in to play the course. I felt bad for them and embarrassed.

Best to close the course then charging players with heavy equipment running all over the place.

To me and my Daughters surprise they were working on several holes and the 12th hole was completely closed. There were (3) holes that were shortened due to construction and the greens for those holes were unputtable because they basically cut the grass down to dirt. They are also working around the clubhouse jack hammering up concrete which was extremely noisy and dusty. For $125.00 per round, I would expect a little better. Especially from a place bearing the Trump name. Extremely disappointed.

I travelled a long distance across the Atlantic ocean to play in this course. Unfortunately an unpleasant experience, one hole was closed and two holes were under maintenance. Fairways were thick and full of worm’s infestations. The staff at check in did not inform me about this situation.

When I complained, the lady at the pro-shop offered USD 25 refund out of USD 135 I paid but I refused. She gave me a name badge instead.

In conclusion, it was a sad experience at iconic golf venue.

One hole was closed and two other holes under construction. They literally sold a scam on GolfNow. This should be ilegal there was no disclaimer at time of booking that the course was under construction. I know they want to make money but this is fraud.

Hole 12 is completely closed off. 2 holes with temporary greens (one is on 18 eliminating the island green). They needed maintenance badly but this is from stalling that maintenance. All courses are in ok shape. Played them in much better conditions previously - all of them. Worth $125? No. Will it be worth more than $125 once complete? Maybe. I’m most disappointed at the fact that I booked and got no warning about this until I pulled up to the pro shop.

Course was great. My tee time cost $90. I would not play this course for more than $150. Course was in amazing condition and good scenery. Two of the holes had temporary greens which threw me off made the holes much shorter. I was very excited to play 18 with the island green but it was under repair so I couldn’t. Overall 9/10 experience great hospitality & the range is amazing

This is a great course. So far my favorite of the 3 I have played.

For women we need more bathrooms on the course. The greens were a bit patchy. Otherwise I enjoyed the course, it was a bit tougher course to play on as well.
