Booked on via golf now easy to use friendly welcome on arrival.

The course it's self is in great condition you will not be disappointed, 1st hole is up hill but once you're on top the views around Burnley are amazing.

Thus was the first time playing Burnley in about 10yrs. It was was better than I remembered. It started off with the staff in the pro-shop, who were friendly, helpful & very cheery.

It makes a massive difference whe playing a course for the first time in a long when you get a friendly welcome.

We hired buggies due to having a few older players with us. Although most folk were walking it is quite hilly.

There are a few blind shots which can be a little confusing, but in general it is easy to follow around.

We didnt partake in the clubhouse due to a private function going on.

Would I reccomend Burnley? Absolutely it is in great condition despite the weather. It was quite a shock to see green fairways, which we haven't seen for quite a while.

The 18th hole is very rewarding.

It is great value at £27.50 for a Sunday tee time.

Give it a go, you won't be disappointed...

Great course, fairly challenging but fair. Par 4,s reachable in two and the par 5,s in 3. Greens are quite slow and a bit lumpy but not unreadable. On course facilities are very good ie shop, putting area and a small driving range, also a really nice bar area and restaurant. Took me and my mate 4 hours to get round as a 4 ball in front of us were slow even with golf carts. Highly recommended

Played Burnley for the first time and it didn't disappoint. Chap in the pro shop was very helpful and friendly and the shop had a great mix of equipment and clothing. Also a good mix of second hand clubs as well as new

Course was in great condition and quiet. It was a Tuesday so no food but hot drinks available. The fact it was quiet was more of a bonus and we sailed round the course without any holdups.

Would recommend hiring a buggy as very hilly but views were spectacular.

We found the course really interesting and challenging, without being too difficult.

The greens and the course were of a very high standard, and we will definitely return to play it again.

The only slight let down were the bunkers (which there is a lot off) which didn't have much sand and were very stony, however speaking to the Club president & a member later, they told us that there is plans to take some bunkers out, so I feel they are looking to address this.

Everyone we encountered from the excellent pro shop, to the members & bar staff were all really friendly and very helpful, it defiantly stands up as 1 of the friendliest clubs around.

The course was in very good condition, the greens a little slow but understandably due the weather conditions with lack of rain.

Certainly recommend it to anyone regardless to what standard you play.

From arriving we was welcomed and everything was explained by the staff in the Pro Shop they where great and also by bar staff after our game, we will certainly be going back again in a few few weeks time.

what a course! , hilly, windy, long & tricky. went with my mate, my son and his golf buddy.

me and my mate are 20 handicappers and went round in 90 and 92. my son and his bud

have only been golfing for 18 months and found it really hard (111 & 118) as 99% of the

time you dont have an even lie.... that said it is a fantastic course with a driving range, well

stocked pro shop and bar/ restaurant... the finishing hole is superb!

The greens and the fairways are I top condition, better than many far more expensive courses I’ve played this year. The fairways in particular are like carpets.

Superb course. Hilly moorland gem.

For me there are two signature par 3's, one downhill and one slightly up.

Played in early May 2026 and course was in great condition. Greens all running nicely and fairways wide and kept trim. Hilly course but I got round ok with a trolley but others may want to consider a buggy. Some fantastic par 3's. Great views on the top holes which we enjoyed in the sun - winter would be a different matter. Staff friendly and went out of their way to organize the use of a buggy for one of our party. Just a shame the bar shut at 6pm however we really enjoyed it 👍.

Great course overall. A real test. No pass codes given for the gates. Made the course way more difficult, accessing the back 9 was really hard work. These need to be provided on the app?

Need more 100 yard markers this will ease pace of play. Even posts against the tree line would work.

The course was in good condition for time of year. Descent variation in holes. Buggies available also. Only issue was there was a walking four ball in front of us which took the pace out of our round a little to be fair to them they had let other groups play through. I suppose you can only do it so many times before it ruins there round. Other groups on the course seamed friendly also. Will be going back in summer.

Despite heavy rainfall the week before, the course was in excellent condition. No temporary greens. Extremely enjoyable round of golf
