Rancho Solano Golf Course

This is our first time visiting Rancho Solano and we were very impressed with course layout, condition and staff! Will definitely return.

I don't get to play this course very often but enjoy it each time. The layout is smooth and fair. The only hangup is the pace of play which is regularly 4.5 to 5 hours. It seems that a group ahead is slow and marshals aren't proactive to pick up the pace. The food is the best I have had at a golf course with all else being user friendly.

Golf courses seem to be getting all greedy,

Single player are now forced to share cart.

Possible exposure to covid, flu, cold or cough.

This course is always in great condition.

Rancho Solano is THE best course in the North Bay Area. The course contains wide & friendly fairways, great hole layouts, and pure but difficult greens. If the only issue with your course is that the tee boxes are slightly below average, you’re at great course. I highly recommend this course if you’ve never played it before.

Rounds that start at 1 p.m and you finish at 6:15 with a Marshall that comes by three times speaks for itself.

Greens are drying out and getting crusty. Nice local course but to long of a day and this is the third time rounds exceed 4 1/2 + hours.

The course is in beautiful condition. Green are challenging. We love playing this course. It’s interesting and fun!

Marshall was very grumpy, targeted my son for driving the cart that is 14 years old under adult supervision.

Love this course! Second time playing it. Only issue was slow play. We were waiting 5-10min n each tee box all day. Good thing, we were in no rush. But it would have been better if it was a bit faster.

I was born and raised 30 minutes from Pinehurst, I’ve lived in NC, SC, Ohio, Arizona, Oregon, and now Cali. In over 20 years of golfing I haven’t come across a better course than this for the price. The course maintenance is elite, the layout has tons of character and is wide open - you won’t spend hours looking for balls slightly off the fairway. Got stuck behind some very rookie players but they let me play right through. The course is very forgiving until you reach the green, they are soft but very fast - absolutely perfect. You definitely want to be on the right tier of the greens for makeable putts. I will go out of my way to play this course again.

First time playing Rancho Solano and it was in great condition! Greens were smooth and fast, fairways were plush and the rough too was full with no bare spots eve n under the many trees lining the fairways! Conditions and amenities mirror what you would expect at a private country club!
