Solid but unspectacular
Friendly course - mostly open despite there being a fair number of trees, gentle elevation changes, mostly straight holes. The greens have serious breaks to them and are the main thing that makes the course challenging. Overall conditions are those of an above average municipal course, not quite private country level. A bit over-watered. It's a nice looking golf course despite being within a housing community.
Nice Day
Played with three really nice guys and had a great time with fun conversation. The course was in very nice condition and the greens were terrific.
Great course, friendly staff
Great conditions, friendly staff, fast greens, perfect sand traps. Best course I have played in the in San Jose area for sure.
No aeration warning!! 10/8/26
Have played this course several times and it’s usually in great condition. Quick greens and such BUT this time, we didn’t know they punched the greens until the starter informed us on the 1st tee!!!
Shame on u villages or GolfNow, as they typically provide a warning when u book.
Greens haven’t been mowed or rolled for several days. They were so furry and Balls were stopping on a downhill!
Very DISAPPOINTED, I expect more from the villages and GolfNow 🤦♂️
Good course for beginners and friendly staff
First of all, the staff members were very friendly although I was not member of the community. In most places, those people who we encounter determines our impression.
The course was in the aeration stage, so most area including green and tee box were not in the best condition. Unlike others saying, the green was very slow.
Fair way was wide, so, good for like beginners like me. Rough was kind of deep unlike other public courses, so, it was nice.
Most par4 and par5 holes had fairway bunker in the left side where driving ball lands. Possibly little harder for lefties.
Overall, good experience, and definitely will go back soon when the course condition is better after aeration.
Great course - but sand on the greens
After aeration , they are supposed to sweep out the excess sand…
They should have given me a discount for a course we’re putting was removed from play.
Fairways and bunkers were in good condition though.
The best part is they allow the cart to go all the way up to 15 feet from the greens.
Golf now should indicate the reason for hot deals… aerated greens is one things. Sand on the greens, unacceptable.
I feel like I should have paid $30 for that day.
The residents were allowed to play for free due to aeration …
Great course just needs a little upkeep.
Great course just needs a little upkeep. The fairways are looking a little bit dry but overall, it was a good venue.
Great course
The layout and condition plus pace of play on a Tuesday at 1 pm was excellent.
Excellent Afternoon
Teed off at 2:15, finished by 6:00! Course in fantastic shape, bunkers look to have recently been redone and excellent. Greens were quick and rolled true (stay below the hole). If you get a chance, take advantage of this opportunity!
Good course with well maintained bunkers
Very straight course where you can see the hole flag for most of the holes from the tees, but that does not make it very easy. I would not play there every month but still good course to try
Don’t Let the Negative Reviews Fool YoU
For $85 on a Saturday, this course was a great value. The pace of play was excellent, the layout was fun, and the carts looked brand new. I only wish they had GPS.
The bunkers played differently than I’m used to, and I somehow ended up with three fried eggs in one round. The greens were fast and tricky to read. One green had some tire marks, but it didn’t take away from the experience.
I’m not sure why some reviews mention bait-and-switch pricing because that wasn’t my experience at all. Everything was as advertised, and I’d definitely play here again.
Worth Playing but Service Could Be Better
I’m giving this course 3 stars because the experience was mixed.
The course itself is in good condition, and the greens are challenging and fun to play. If you’re looking for a course that tests your putting and approach shots, it’s worth checking out.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. My GolfNow tee time was pushed back by the staff without any notification. Better communication would have made a big difference.
The staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, some members became noticeably less welcoming after they found out we had booked through GolfNow instead of being club members. As paying guests, we expected to be treated with the same level of courtesy regardless of how we booked.
Ok course, hard greens
Well kept course with difficult sloped greens but not so memorable because every hole is a straight shot down with few obstacles.
Deceptive price
The course is great! Such a well maintained course! However, on this app it said it was $55 a person and once I got there I ended up paying $200 for two people. There needs to be transparency.
they did the same thing to me. I called golfnow to complain, but apparently, they will let the villages continue doing this to their customers
