A little pricey but well worth it
Second time playing this course in a month both times it courses in excellent condition even the tea boxes. Definitely a winner and worth playing a few times a year
Slow Play Spoils Good Course
Always enjoy playing this course and applaud the wonderful improvements that have been made by new owners. Course is in very good condition, with fast greens and tight fairways. The main concern has been very slow play. Yes it was windy and yes everyone had problems finding balls in the leaves, but no reason for a 4:45 hr minute round . Every course needs to be aware of this issue and have someone available to ride the course if needed to move players along. Slow play is the number one complaint from golfers and clubs have to make an effort to help alleviate the problem.

Weather couldn’t have been better for golf. Temps in the mid 70s ,minimal wind and we had the course almost to ourselves. Overall the course was in excellent condition and the greens were as slick as I’ve ever seen them. Finished in 3:20 minutes.

Great course
The course was impeccable. 5 sets of tees, all skill levels are able to play this course. The greens were both receptive for approach shots and fast for putting. That combination is what every course hopes to achieve. Not a single bad thing to say about the course.
The practice green rolled like the greens on the course. That alone made me extremely happy.
The fairways were kept well, the rough actually varied in height and some of the deep rough was especially challenging.
Bring your A game to play this course!

What more can I say... got a chance to play this outstanding course 10 days before the LGPA tournament and it is truly in CHAMPIONSHIP FORM.

Greens are fast and true. Rough is tough keep it in the fairway.
Everything golf is top notch.
The greens had just been punched and were loaded with sand, but I was made aware of this when I booked the tee time. The fairways had been punched 2 weeks ago and were in perfect condition. The 4th hole is currently being played as a par 3 as they are constructing a sea wall on the lake. I was also informed of this when booking the tee time. This will be an excellent visual upgrade on this signature hole. Everything related to golf at this club is top level. When the sea wall is complete Forest Oaks will be the best course in this area of many great courses. Unfortunately, there is no place to have a sandwich and a beer after your round as all of the bars and restaurants are closed and there is no beverage cart. I'm hoping this will change soon. I didn't ding the course on the star rating though.
