Blair Park Golf Course
About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Golf Advisor: Top 25 Friendliest Courses in the U.S. (2019 #25)
Reviews
Terribly slow
The course was cart path only. We had foursome ahead of us and for the whole round they were more than a hole behind the group ahead of them. The Ranger came by twice and never said pick up the pace. They never offered to let us through. You can tell the course is run by the recreation department. It would be nice if they spent their money on weed control.
Manager that sits in office sucks
The guy that sits on his butt all day and doesn’t do anything. You suck. All the other staff is super nice and knows what’s up. The other dude is something else
Always enjoy playing Blair Park. We had a single join us and we all had a great time. Great value for the course too. Even with carts on path, we finished in a little over 4 hours. Staff is always so friendly and helpful
Great course, great staff, slow play
I used to LOVE playing Blair Park all of the time, but now it just seems to be a little different now. I used to play rounds well under 4 hours - last few rounds have been between 4:15 and 4:30. Will have to come during off peak hours when not so crowded.
Should have played more
We only had time for 9 holes but we would have loved to have played all 18. It was such a gorgeous day and the course was not easy but so much fun.
Just played 9 holes. Course is coming along, as it's early in the season. Lots of folks out there, as it was a nice day, so pace of play was average. Staff is always so friendly.
Greens had been aerated recently. Only complaint is ball marks on every green.
Great Experience
Bermuda grass course still brown at this time of year, but great value for the money. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nice, cheaper golf course
Inexpensive to play here and course layout is fun. Tee boxes are average for the men, women’s tee boxes are below average. Greens are ok, not too bumpy, keep in mind, this is a city course on a budget.
Definitely will play again.
