Blair Park Golf Course

About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Golf Advisor: Top 25 Friendliest Courses in the U.S. (2019 #25)
Reviews
Great to get back
It was a pleasure to visit Blair Park again. I came in from Durham with no partner and was paired up with three of the friendliest individuals. Course was in great shape ( considering the time of year) and the greens were fantastic. Still one of my favorites despite the drive. Can't wait to get back when the weather clears. Thank again for the wonderful day

Great weather, friendly staff, good conditions, great value
Blair Park delivered another outstanding golf experience.
$10.00 on Tee Off.com after online coupon, a great value.
The staff is always helpful, friendly, and professional.
Weather was perfect.
Course conditions have vastly improved from tee to green.
Putting surfaces are smooth and medium speed.
Pace of play for 18 holes with cart was under 4 hours-excellent!
For an overall wonderful golf experience, Blair Park delivers!
I highly recommend Blair Park as a top public municipal course to play.
Too many Twosomes
Love the course but wish theyd pair people. Too many groups of 2 causing lots of wait time.
Great day for nine holes
Until the rains came. Thanks to the Pro Shop for the weather voucher. Looking forward to finishing the round.
Best condition ever!
Hadn't been back since August however, the overall course conditions were the BEST EVER. Hat's off the the maintenance crew. Lush dry fairways, great greens and clean rough lies.
Can't wait to visit again.
course has good fairways and greens
was very pleased to play here, the course has a lot of challenges. Good for anyone who likes a challenge on the greens.
This is a fun course
Really enjoy playing this course every time. Love the layout.
Underrated gold course
Greens were punched, so putting wasn't great. That can be expected from time to time. Other than that, great day.
Great Round and Staff
I came in from Florida for a family gathering. I wanted to play so I found a Friday 1205 tee time as a single through Golf Now. The Pro Shop personnel were friendly and engaging. We talked sports and weather.
The course was in Great shape, tee to green. It was such a nice course and round that I came back the next day with my brother and a friend. Each of them loved the course My brother’s friend lives in the area and didn’t know about this hidden gem. Great Job Blair Park, You’ve Checked All the boxes for a Great Round of Golf! I’ll be seeing you’ll again.
