Blair Park Golf Course
About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Great day for nine holes
Until the rains came. Thanks to the Pro Shop for the weather voucher. Looking forward to finishing the round.
Best condition ever!
Hadn't been back since August however, the overall course conditions were the BEST EVER. Hat's off the the maintenance crew. Lush dry fairways, great greens and clean rough lies.
Can't wait to visit again.
course has good fairways and greens
was very pleased to play here, the course has a lot of challenges. Good for anyone who likes a challenge on the greens.
This is a fun course
Really enjoy playing this course every time. Love the layout.
Underrated gold course
Greens were punched, so putting wasn't great. That can be expected from time to time. Other than that, great day.
Great Round and Staff
I came in from Florida for a family gathering. I wanted to play so I found a Friday 1205 tee time as a single through Golf Now. The Pro Shop personnel were friendly and engaging. We talked sports and weather.
The course was in Great shape, tee to green. It was such a nice course and round that I came back the next day with my brother and a friend. Each of them loved the course My brother’s friend lives in the area and didn’t know about this hidden gem. Great Job Blair Park, You’ve Checked All the boxes for a Great Round of Golf! I’ll be seeing you’ll again.
Great local course
I was not expecting to start on the back nine but apparently this is a normal Wednesday to allow maintenance to do their thing on the front nine. Not mad at all but it was unexpected. This does set you up for three par fives in a row though! That was fun. But keep doing what you are doing because the course was in great shape. I also had the BEST BLT from the grill!
Great value
Played here for the first time. This course is a great value. The greens were a bit slow but that wasn't a bad thing. Fairways were is great shape and rough wasn't too long. Good layout with plenty of challenges between trees, creeks and sand traps.
The only drawback I had was it appeared that someone playing in front of me was wearing metal spikes and drug their feet on the greens on every hole. This isn't the course's fault unless they allow metal spikes. I am not sure of their policy though.
