About
Blair Park Golf Course is the one of High Point's two municipally owned courses. It's the older of the two, given as a gift to the city from the descendants of Solomon Blair. Originally constructed as a nine-hole course in 1931, a second nine was added in the late 1940s. Over the years the golf course has hosted many area championships and has become a favorite of local golfers. The golf course has a traditional layout with challenges that have withstood the test of time. Several creeks meander through Blair Park Golf Course, coming into play on more than half of the holes and the bunkering is minimal but strategic. The course is player friendly enough for beginners but low handicappers will enjoy the risk-reward opportunities where you can go for broke, though errant shots will be severely punished.

Great course
Blair park is always in great condition have played many times and have never been disappointed.
Local municipal course
I have played Blair Park dozens of times over the years and it is a decent little course. The greens are always slow and have too much crab grass on them. The rough is always too high but it is a municipal course and you get what you pay for. I still love it for its playability and will continue going back Time After Time... The people are nice and the snack bar is awesome!
Excellent shape for the price.
Course was in excellent shape overall. Greens were a little thick and bumpy. Fairways were beautiful. Course has a lot of variety and easy holes mixed with tougher holes. Fairly open as far as driver.

Course was in excellent condition. Greens were really good. I play here several times a year but this time the course was in great. Very challenging as well.

The course was in very good shape. Fairways and greens were plush. The greens were very slow. Course layout was challenging but fair. The course ranger was visible throughout the round
Wide open.
I love how the course was wide open. I didn’t like the fact that I had to wait for golfers ahead of me on every single hole. I wish they would spread the teetimes out a little bit more so didn’t have to wait. Great course in middle of the hood.
