Monroe Country Club

Greens were in good shape. Unfortunately, it was drizzling a lot during our round but there were no real wet spots.

Glad I didn't pay much. Had to skip holes because pace of play was all jacked up. Too many elderly men & women and 9 hole golfers. Need to start them on the back. I waited on most shots because lack of rangers to keep people moving. This really spoils golf when average skill players are mixed with beginners. Love the course and people are nice but needs better course management.

Nice layout and clubhouse staff. Greens have some areas with different grass. We’ll see this summer.

Staff was very accommodating for a first time golfer.

Small greens on the front are hard to hit and hold. Back nine is better.

My husband and I played this course for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a beautiful day and although the course was busy, the pace of play was quick. We will definitely be back.

Good value and an enjoyable course with sufficient challenge.

The threesome in front of us had 4 open holes ahead of them. They would not let us play through. We just had to miss a hole and skip by them. There was a leaf blower that ruined our first 4 holes. It was so loud we could not talk of enjoy ourselves. Never going back.

We had a tee time at 1pm. Course was extremely packed (it was a holiday so I get it). It was 5:00pm and the sun was still out; however, the ranger came by and cut us short on hole 16. Couldn’t understand it for the life of me considering we had waited behind people for almost every hole. Will not be returning to this course.

They had it booked with 5 minute tee times, for our 1:35 tee time we had 7 groups ahead of us waiting to tee off. I played 7 of the 18 holes paid for before leaving out of frustration of how over booked the course was. Definitely not good look for my first time playing this course. I just moved in on the other side of the lake and was thinking of a membership this year. Don't see that happening now.
