Last hole. Lots of water. Photo submitted by u314159587228 on 05/17/2022
True challenge
The wind and the 24 ponds make it a great course for target practice. Don’t need to hit driver most holes and expect to lose balls. Greens are very nice
Lots of water
Challenging course where accuracy off the tee is a must. Water comes into play on most holes. Course needs some warm weather to improve the fairways and greens.
Great little waterway course
Friendly staff, some tight fairways but no hidden hazards. Greens were in great shape and most fairways were too!
Too much water in play
Fairways, although green, were not plush Rough was brown. In all honesty however that seemed to be all the courses in this area during this time of year.
Didn’t allow carts to go to range area. Why?
Fun coarse
I am an eleven handicap and this course tested me throughout the round - shot an 88 - the greens roled true and were well kept - I would definitely tell others to play this course - the staff were very helpful and friendly
The worst
The pace of play was so slow that we had to leave after 13 holes - we had to start at the 18th hole because of a wedding - and it took us 3.5 hours to play 13 holes. Nobody out there to get the slowest group to pick it up. It was terrible and I should have gone into the pro shop and demanded a nine hole rain check. One thing is for sure - NOT GOING BACK TO THIS COURSE.
Great course
One of the most tricky/ challenging golf courses I’ve ever played, well worth the money and in great shape. Greens were rolling nice even with recent rain. Hole 1 and 18 are picture worthy for sure
Nice Course
Course was really nice considering what it looked like last year. Greens were really nice. Well worth the great price!
Not terrible.
Nice views.. decent shape. It’s fine for the price. Couldn’t even get a beer before the round.
Glad Its Back!
First time playing this course in several years. I had high hopes, but low expectations given the recent ownership change and reopening. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Course was laid out beautifully, water or sand in play on almost every hole made for a challenging round and several lost balls. One fairway was in the middle of some renovation work, but all the rest were in great condition for the time of year. Greens were immaculate, fairways were dry, and mishits into the rough made for still playable shots. The 18th hole along the waterway is a thing of beauty. I will look forward to playing this course each time I’m in town.
1st visit
Beautiful starting and finishing holes! Excellent greens on every hole! Lots of water! Lots of fun. I’ll be back!
Decent course for the money
Theh course was very wet. It was cart path only. The greens were in good shape, but the fairways were soaked. Lots of mud balls. We played as a two-some with a foursome in front of us. We waited on every shot until we decided to skip a hole and jump ahead of the foursome. It would have been nice if there were a ranger on the course to tell the foursome to let us play through.
