About
Resort Course at Talamore Golf Resort is a Rees Jones masterpiece that was nominated as "Best New Public Course of the Year" when opened and has become a regular stop for annual returnees to Pinehurst.
The centuries-old tradition of using llamas to help humans carry packs has been revived with a new twist at Talamore. These gentle, hardy animals can carry two bags of clubs with ease and sure-footedness. Their soft padded feet are kind to the delicate surfaces of a golf course. Beautifully manicured course in a woodsy setting. Feels secluded even though it winds through a beautiful neighborhood. Will definitely put on our “play again” list.

Poor Customer Service
We visited Talamore from Florida, during our play we got rained out after two holes of play. The course was no longer playable and flooded.
When we asked for a refund or replay the next day the Golf Pro advised that we only can get a nine hole raincheck. We had six people in our group highly disappointed about the customer service received. Never will return to play this course.

Another pinehurst highlight
This place is amazing. With full tee sheets, people need to slow down and appreciate their surroundings and how lucky they are. The llamas the staff the course the history. Amazing place to be.

Amazing course and the friendliest staff
Wow! What an amazing layout with elevation changes, bunkering, and green complexes. Pace was a little slow, but there are much worse places to spend the day. I will be back soon.

Worth Every Penny
If there is a better overall golf experience I haven’t found it. Great course, great halfway house, great starters and rangers, great bag drop reception, great restaurant, great golf shop, great rest room cleanliness, everything was just GREAT! Thank you!

Can’t ask for anything more
Pace was excellent. 3 80-90s average golfers finished in under 4 hours. Never waited once. However, they alternate starting off the front and back. That might bother some but didn’t bother us. It worked out perfectly. The conditions were excellent. For $100 you just can’t beat it in the area. GPS on the carts was also very accurate and halfway house was excellent. Served awesome drinks right at the crack of 10am. can’t wait to play here again.
