Nice layout. Greens were slow but for this time of year wasn’t unexpected. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately the bar/lounge was closed so couldn’t buy any food or drink and no bar cart.
Cart path in very had chape. The first nine we wait every single shut. The second nine was better because some forsome in front quit or finish.

Golf course
Very bad resort maples course sucks very disappointed I played with 2 people that live on course they said ever since the Japanese bought it couple of years ago it’s been going down hill bad fairways slow greens don’t they pick up leaves they were all over would not play it again

ghost town - aerated greens with no warning
Will not come back because of the poor facilities, lack of communication and bad customer r service

Enjoyable course
The course was in decent early season condition although it had just been aerated and the greens were still sandy. The layout is reasonably interesting, has few forced carries and there are appropriate tees for golfers of differing abilities. The staff was efficient and very friendly. We had the first morning tee time so the front nine pace was excellent, but because they were double teeing we had a long wait to tee off on the back and the pace on the back was slow. Also, there were no on course amenities. Overall average experience.

Really Like Playing This Course
The layout of this course is great and the greens are in excellent condition. A shame the grill and bar are closed and the pro shop has very limited snacks and drinks available.

Rough conditions
Course was a little sparse for grass on fairways and tee decks but it is winter. I guess you should expect that. Greens were mostly good but some a little rough. There was no amenities at the course.

Great course to play for first round of the year.
Course was moderately difficult with some challenging holes.

Don't waste your time nor money!!
Was so disappointed. Maples use to be a really good course. Don't waste your time nor money. By far the worse course we've played in the Sunset Beach through Myrtle Beach area as our group plays different courses each week. Cart paths are in disrepair. Best to ride down the middle of the fairway than experience the totally broken and bumpy cart paths. Total lack of maintenance throughout the course. Snack bar was closed. Talked with some members after the round and they said the pro, the superintendent , and several of the maintenance staff recently quit because owner wasn't putting any money into course. Will never play this course again.
