Maples at Sea Trail Golf Resort and Convention Center

Mostly wide fairways and not much water in play.

A couple of fairways were very wet

Greens were outstanding and the starter went out of his way to be friendly and helpful

Overall a very nice day of golf

I liked the layout of the course and could see it being a fun place to play, but overall we were a little disappointed. Booked an early tee time, and were alone for the front nine. When we made the turn, we see they had sent people off the back and suddenly we were behind several groups. The foursome in front of us were particularly slow and made no indication of letting our twosome play through. We finally just drove past them and skipped a hole entirely. Their poor golf etiquette isn’t the courses fault, but sending groups off the back when groups are also making the turn wasn’t great.

Maples course was a great fit for first time play at Sea Trail. Will definitely play again and try the other coursed there.

Course was still very soggy after rain 5 days ago, but not bad if riding and dont mind walking from cart path. Greens were fast but consistent and fair. No driving range or check in at Maples, so I waited and eventually drove over to the other clubhouse when I figured it out...maybe I missed where it says this information? Staff wanted to charge us $40 extra dollars when the random stranger I was with said he would like an extra cart because he has a health condition and didnt want to ride with a strange due to covid. $40....wow...scam alert! It was empty, Im sure they couldve spared 10 extra carts.

Other than marshy conditions due to all of the rain we have had,,it was great. The greens are like putting on a pool table.

Course was in great condition with all the rain we have had lately. Had six holes where it was cart paths only. greens were very fast. Just a little tap needed. Still enjoyed very much.

I. Believe its members only through the weekend but let us play because it was a week day. Would have loved to play it again since we knew how the course went but they wouldn't let us. That kinda sucked.

Good shape for winter. Was pretty wet, but greens were in good shape. The amenities were zero. No driving range, no snack bar, couldn’t even buy a bag of chips at the turn. Other than that it was a nice experience. Would play it again.

infrastructure aging badly. Cart paths crumnling if it was not immediately tee to green was in disrepair. Greens fair very slow. Could not play down in rough just off fairway very random condition.

Played mid afternoon so very little play which was great. Really like the layout of this course, fun to play. Cart paths are a bit rough would be my only complaint

Good course. Pace of play was slow at times, but great day to be on the course, so not a big deal.

I am not crazy about Dan Maples golf courses but I played with a good friend who lives nearby.

The course had a variety of green sizes which was puzzling. Greens will be needing major attention soon. Fairways mostly weeds. I was disapointed.

We thought the layout and course itself were in great shape. However the cart paths would get a 1 out of 5. They were very bumpy, lots of holes and tore up asphalt so hold onto your fillings. I would definitely play again but would be more careful on the paths.

I booked as a single and the staff paired me with a gentleman from Scotland .

We enjoyed each other’s company which when coupled with mediocre golf play—- netted a very pleasant afternoon!

A staff attendant even met me at my car to save me returning to the cart barn.

I do not if the course is always this messy or they just did not take the time to clean up after the storm
