Course is in terrible shape, should not be open. Greens fair to poor. Can't tell the diffence between the fairways and the rough. Lost many balls that were hit to what should have been the middle of the fairway. Goose grass everywhere

Course was in terrible conditions with staff stating their lawn equipment was nonfunctional

This is a course that I want so badly to succeed. It just isn’t in good shape. From tee box to fairway to greens, it’s just not in good shape. I will probably not play again until it shows signs of recovery to past glory. Staff is great. Cart person passes by regularly. I like the lunch counter downstairs.

Do not waste your money. Fairways and rough haven't been mowed in weeks. Most of the greens have fungus. Hard to believe this is the same course that was in great shape last year when I played there.

Very disappointed . Played here just this spring course was great. But yesterday , greens had very little grass on them, cups had white paint all over cups and the grass every hole. Tee box’s long grass and sand you had to have tee a higher just to go over grass. The fairways you could lose your ball. Grab grass and weeds as high as rough that looked like it had not been cut for months.

This course is normally my favorite course here in Orlando . I was hoping to add pictures because they would show you how made the course was.

Didn’t even finish hole 2. Picked up my ball and got the F out of there. The fact that this place can charge people to golf here is criminal. Close it up and build the condos.

Seriously, I’m not sure they own a lawn mower. Lost multiple balls that were hit into the fairway. Too many higher quality courses in the area to ever give this course the time of day again.

The course is in the worst shape I've ever seen it. I will never go back. You can lose your ball in there middle of the fairway. This course is dying and it's pity.

We’ve played this course hundreds of times over 30+ years but for them to even be open, is a complete disgrace to the Orlando golf community.

All four of us said it was the worst golf experience we’ve ever had. The attendant’s said the owner refused to put any money into it, and it shows.

Every aspect of the course is complete trash. He should sell it and let someone else bring our local club back and manage it like Marriott did many years ago. An absolute complete travesty.

I've been playing MetroWest somewhat regularly for nigh on three years near now, and the condition of this course has dramatically dropped. If you had asked me even a few months ago what I would rate this course my answer would be 4 stars, but now not so much. The rough mowers were both broken for the past two weeks, per staff, so I can understand the thickness of the rough. I lost three balls playing here just because I didn't hit the fairway. Not OB, not a hazard, just because of the rough. However, the rough is not the only issue. The fairways are so rough and full of weeds that I lost balls even when hit right down the middle. Almost every hole you had at least one shot where you were searching for your ball even when you saw exactly where it landed. The tee boxes have almost no grass and many of the greens are brown and sandy. Quite disappointed with the drop in conditions, will be taking my business elsewhere until this is remedied.

Condition was terrible. Just played on overgrown weeds or dirt everywhere. Used to be a cool track but won’t be back now that it’s gone this far downhill.

Greens were terrible, tee boxes were not good and you did not know where the rough ended and the fairway started. I will say the sand bunkers were in great shape.

I've played here many times. Good layout for the average player with challenges. But I don't need challenges from large weeds on and off the fairways. Really needs weed treatment. On some holes its hard to tell where the fairway ends and the rough begins. The back nine had Bermuda rough so high that you easily loose balls in it. Maybe the wetness kept the mowers off the course? Also greens less than true with rough spots. Seen this course much better.

This course has changed dramatically in a30 days- it’s terrible! I hit 3 balls on three separate holes straight down the middle of the fairway, and lost them all due to weeds . Greens are not puttsble - dirt and weeds uncontrolled. Not worth . A $5 fee. .

The playing conditions were absolutely horrendous. The “fairways”—and I use that term generously—were more like overgrown fair-weeds. Hitting the ball into the fairway didn’t mean you were actually in a playable area. More often than not, you had to pull out your imaginary utility weed whacker and cut through the turf just to find your ball.

And don’t even think about searching for a ball in the “rough” unless you brought some serious terrain equipment. Finding your ball, let alone playing it, became an adventure in itself.

Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of this course. I would strongly encourage anyone considering playing here to beware and check the current course conditions before booking.

The rough was over a foot deep. If you missed the fairway you spent the full 5 min looking before having to move on. The fairways we pock marked and had hundreds of 6 9nch tufts of crab grass. Finding a clear patch of turf in the fairway was nigh impossible. Most of the greens were in nice shape.
