MetroWest Golf Club

Our group drove down from Nashville. We played 36 holes for $100. Anyone that complains about Metro West is unrealistic about winter golf. No winter rye but the price of that is way too high.

Great layout and the greens are pretty good for a public course.

My wife and I played the first 8 holes in one hour and 10 minutes then caught all the groups in front and finished in 3:45. So can’t complain too much.

When we are in Orlando for a week we play a round here. It’s met our expectations between price and conditions for a public course the last two years. Before that it was hit and miss.

Course condition and wetter than normal conditions, so we played winter rules (Pick and Place) cart paths need a lot of work. Not sure why prices jumped $30 a round in mid January. Got me looking at other options.

Okay this year, but weather made it less enjoyable.

Enjoyed the round even in the rain. Some very challenging holes and very good and quick greens. Need some changes such as proper tee boxes rather than poles and some better yardage markers on the fairways. Will be going back to Metro West before I go back to the UK. . .

Greens good, most everything else was playable

Course is in great condition. Loved the speed of the greens.

Played on a Tuesday- range was closed for maintenance or clean pick, no biggy just a heads up. Not many golfers so we set our own pace. Staff was VERY friendly & service met/surpassed expectations. Was on the hunt for best conditions under $80- felt like I hit the jackpot (paid $59)! Greens were exactly what they needed to be- fast enough where there were quick ones out there but totally scorable. Only one green stands out that needed some love but not quite bad enough to make excuses for missing a putt! Tees & fairways in good shape.

Played during Christmas break. Layout is really fun, greens are quick and fun. Pace can be slow. A fun public course.

Witnessing all the improvements made and those in progress, I think the golf course is in a very good track to its full potential. Great location, very friendly staff, it was a very enjoyable experience. Kudos to all those involved in bringing back this awesome course. Thank you!

Course has an amazing layout and conditions were very good. Definitely recommend

If you are going to spend 90 bucks for a round of golf, drive over to Eagle Creek in Lake Nona, or pony up 10 more bucks to play OC National.

Metro is not a 90 course even in prime golf time here in Florida, come on.

I could see paying maybe 50 per round, but until this course is back in its glory and in pristine condition, 90 is ludicrous.

I was first out at 7am.

Pro didn't seem to pleased just went through the motions. Asked about coffee non available.

Bring your own if you go early.

Bag drop attendant was very nice and accommodating.

Course shape not so good.

Fairways were ok at best but off the fairway patchy. Greens were good the only thing good about the course. No GPS for this course.

I did not have a scope with me.

Shooting into greens having to guess yardages as finding sprinkler heads (that were marked) but difficult to find due to grass growth. No 150 poles they did have 150 & 100 yard stone markers if you could find them, once again overgrown with grass.

Do not recommend.
