Pleasantly surprised
Booked a quick 9 on Super Bowl Sunday Morning. Course was in pretty good shape, greens were decent. People really need to repair ball marks!! Great layout, wide open fairways and friendly staff. Would play again for sure.
Decent
Not good, not bad..decent little 9-hole course where I can take a full bag and enjoy a quick round.
Plays Like 18
It's a beginner's course so I won't say much about the course conditions or layout. However, it takes you the same amount of time to play 9 holes here as it does to play 18 holes elsewhere. There is nobody monitoring the pace of play.
Much TLC needed!
The tee boxes and fairways are in pretty terrible shape. Greens are fast and challenging but could use some attention. Our cart was filthy, if water usage is an issue at least wipe with a damp cloth after each use.
Ok for the money
Bad condition, run down, dirty carts but ol for the price, if you only want to play nine holes, and great for kids/beginners for all the aforementioned....
A Fun Morning
Met a friend for an early round at Altadena. The course was surprisingly empty at 8:30 am, which made play move quite quickly. Altadena is challenging enough to be interesting without it beating you up. And the mountains are beautiful. It was an enjoyable round I look forward to repeating. Go have fun.
Relax and enjoy the walk
This is such a fun and inviting course for all skill levels. I love the friendly, casual vibe at the course, but most importantly, I love how it isn’t intimidating to people wanting to learn or get better at golf. This is a place that really fosters the love of the game.
