Just book a different course
Saw 4 dead carts throughout the 9 hole course, one of them was directly 50 yards in front of the tee box. Kind of ridiculous to not make sure the carts have enough battery to get through a flat 9 hole course.
Only staff I saw was the one man in the pro shop, who was nice.
Good practice course
It's located right up against the foothills. Beautiful views of the mountains and one does feel somewhat out of the city. Course conditions are fair, at best,. Greens are well maintained, but the fairways are dimply, We had to move our balls often to have a good chance of hitting approach shots well.
I would recommend this course to anyone who has a few hours free and wants to get some practice in.
Not maintained
No carts available when arrived. Course not maintained. No driving range, more than half the poles for the nets are falling and broken on the range. Empty carts around the golf course like if someone left them there. Hence the no golf carts at check in.
Fun track.
Rare Par 36, 9 holes! Good views of mountains. Conditions could be better (e.g., rough too high/inconsistent). You'll use all clubs. Great for practice round
Good for practice
The par 4/5 holes on this course make it a good practice for the weekend 18. Fairways were in 'ok' condition and the greens had quite a few ball marks considering I had a 6:40am tee time. There should really be a warden doing some light patrolling of the course.
Four newbies sliced their drives onto the fairway of the hole I was teeing off from. They all came over to my fairway, took practice swings, and then all proceeded to slice even closer to my tee box. Then they came up to their balls again, took practice swings, and then ended up scattering their balls all over the place. Meanwhile I'm still just waiting on the tee box to hit my shot. As far as I know, they were backing up the whole course behind them, too. It's ok to be new... but c'mon have some courtesy.
Good course for practice
Very inexpensive and worth it. Greens and fairways in decent condition. It is long enough to use all the clubs in your bag.
