A nice time on the course
Altadena is a friendly, fun, not terribly demanding course most will enjoy. Fairways and greens in pretty good shape, much better than its sister course Eaton Canyon with its horrible cart paths and dirt-filled fairways.They may want to give the golf carts a good scrubbing, but nothing else stands out as a negative. Not really even the dirty carts.

Greens are coming back after seeding nicely,, staff is always friendly great place to get in a quick 9..
Pace Bad + Course condition
Very poor pace of play. The fairways look the worst they have in years. Feels like the course has been under construction for a long time.
It’s okay
I loved the layout. I liked the challenging lenght of the holes. I also enjoyed the grass from where you tee off. What I did not enjoy was the grass on the fairway and around. It was not too well taken care of. I’d get a good drive and end up in a good location on the fairway but I’d be around dirty or very patchy grass. If the grass would be better kept, I’d def come back.
First Timer
Great course to sharpen your game. Fairways are wide open. Good size on the holes. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Pace of play was also good. I’ll definitely come back to play more. Grass practice range is an awesome feature.
Fun course to practice on.
Enjoy this course. I get to use all the clubs in my bag including my driver. That can be a good or bad thing, depending on the day.
