Dirt patch everywhere
The course is not worth the money and time to play. The worst condition golf course i’ve seen. I played here before and it was a good challenging course before. Now most of the fairways are dirt patches.
A Fading Star
This course seems to be withering away. The fairways are patchy and the greens so slow. As for the pace of play? That is so bad I had to walk off after 14 holes. Who has six hours for a full round of golf? It could be so much better but it seems to be headed in the other direction.
Deplorable pace of play
Fairly easy course (par 71) in good condition. Which makes our 5:45 round on a Friday pretty hard to explain. Avg ten min wait at every tee. At one point we waited 30 MINUTES at the 12th. They’re trying to tee people off every 7minutes and it just doesn’t work. Mentioned this to the pro shop and the guy shrugged and said “that’s what you get here”. Played every course in LA county - easily slowest rate of play mid week I’ve ever experienced.
Had a great time!
The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. The course was huge and alot of fun!!
Conditions have improved since the last time I played here especially the greens . Add that to a great layout and it means top notch golf course. It’s a very busy course though so a quick round probably won’t happen . One of the best munis in so cal. .
Slow green but tolerable
It was Sunday and 99 degree out but the course was still packed and pace slowed. Still tolerable and fun as the holes are generally pretty wide and open. The little hills can be knarly at time depending on where the ball sits but fun regardless. Green is kinda slow which is kinda strange considering how dry it is. Would love to come back in the future still, and would still recommend
A solid track
Played 8/13 at 7:50am as a single paired with 3 other singles. Even in the middle of summer with a drought the course seemed to be in better shape than the last time i played it back in May. Noticeably the greens were much nicer than I remembered with fewer divot marks and rolled a lot better, about medium speed. Still a couple of par 3 greens that have a bit of wear but overall they were a bright spot. Tee boxes were generally all in very good and level condition and the fairways were in decent shape as well. The undulating nature of some of the fairways leaves some areas with dried out dirt patches but nothing too terrible. Bunkers seemed to be in good shape, nicely raked and with enough sand that you could actually splash a shot out. POP was adequate at 4 hours 20 minutes. Pro shop staff super friendly. Not an exceedingly challenging track but enough length on the par 3s to keep it interesting. If you can keep shots on the fairway and avoid tree trouble it's a place you can go low.
Excellent course!
Top notch employees !!this course was beautiful with a back drop of the mountains!!
Golf course was in good shape, only problem was there were no carts available for a 2:30pm tee time. Had to wait for groups to come in on 18 to get a cart. Starter was kind enough to not only give us range balls free because of the delayed tee time, but also a free cart.
