Not as nice as before
The course conditions used to be a lot better. It was a nice course when they kept the greens in perfect condition. I don't know if the greens were affected by fungus or just poor groundskeeping. The greens were blotchy with dark dirt spots causing the balls to jump offline.
Very good friendly and helpful staff especially the pro shop manager John.
Greens and tee boxes where in terrible conditions only a couple greens where playable. tee boxes were beat to shreds. Over priced for terrible conditions. I remember when Santa Anita used to be gorgeous…
Very nice community course
Slow pace of play; I surprised there were a lot of golfers on weekday. Otherwise, it was fun course.
Stuck behind three 5 somes on a Sat
Tee times are already too close to eachother and they send out three groups of 5 players at 11AM…on a Saturday lol

Best Value in town
The course was in great shape. pace of play was fast. It's the best deal in town, especially for twilight golf.
First time
Overall I had a great experience playing this course, well maintained fairways, greens kept in good condition, friendly staff and overall challenging. Course.
Poor tee time and payment method
Made tee time, we showed up and played. Next day I got email from golfpass saying I didn't pay and was being charged $112.00.
Hard but fun to play
This was my first time at Santa Anita Golf Course, and I wasn’t aware of the elevation changes (up and down hills) on the course. I wish I had known beforehand, as I wouldn’t have played with a hand cart. However, overall, it was a challenging and fun course to play.
Great course
Mike in the pro shop is a cool guy, very knowledgeable. Jeff and Rocio gives good service with the food and drinks. The course is in great shape I will be returning soon. Thanks
Sharing carts.
Soi arrived early on check in I was a solo player. But was being forced to walk or share a cart. I wouldn't mind sharing a cart but they were still charging me a full cart fee while I had to share.
So make sure u are ready to share your cart because no solo riders according to there policy.
But course over all is decent. Will come back but with a partner at least
Great price, nice course
Some tee boxes need a lot of love and a few greens needed a little tlc. but overall, great day of golf!
