the course needs to be watered
The fairways have not had enough water and on many of them, you are hitting off of dead grass or dirt. The sand traps need more sand.

Greens
I was disappointed with the shape of the greens, divots everywhere. Hopefully next time I’ll play it will be better?

For a public course , Santa Anita is excellent. The senior rates are very competitive which adds to the value of the layout. I must say that Danny is a great asset to your organization .He is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. You are lucky to have him in your organization.
Great course
Pace of play was pretty good, finished in 3 hours and 30 minutes,
Course condition was pretty fair.
Green was both fast and slow...
Overall great course for bogey players.
Fun and open
I spray it around and wasn’t punished by the course. Well maintained, likable staff and finished in around 4 hours. Maybe the heat kept some people away, lol. Will be playing again!
Just an average course
The fairways are pretty wide and there’s not a lot of slope so I think it’s a great golf course for beginners, but overall there’s nothing special about this course. Don’t think I would play you again unless playing with some beginners

Quick round
Overall the course is in good condition. Fairways mostly intact although some bare or burnt spots. Bunkers well maintained. Greens in good condition, were soft and forgiving. Tee boxes ok and level except for 18.
Great pace of play. Sub 4 hour round.
Fairways and bunkes need attention
Fairways have really dried out since the closing in March. The bunkers need more sand - more likely to have dirt in them. The greens are in good condition but are slow. Still I like the variety of the layout.

Worst golf course in Los Angeles and the worst I ever played.
Well for starters the golf course condition is the worst condition I ever seen a golf course in the fair way is dirt and the greens are the slowest greens I ever played in my life that’s not a joke. You will not enjoy this golf course it sucks and not only that the staff there is 10000000000 times worst at first I figured it was only a few but man the manager was a nightmare, If you are playing golf and afraid from COVID-19 then please do your self and others a favor and do not go to this golf course they don’t care about the rules for COVID-19 they basically just unfollow everything they should do and it’s terrible and disgusting and shut be shutdown hopefully by the CDC.

Smith it sounds like you play garbage golf courses and your a idiot for giving 70$ at Santa Anita you sound like the manger you can ask 100 people and they’ll say the greens are garbage even when I got there I asked one of the staff members how are the greens rolling and shotu I think that’s how you say his name told me that the greens are super slow always have been. You sound like you work there and your upset
It sounds like you are bitter that you suck at golf. Greens are in good condition you must not be able to putt.
Don’t listen to this nonsense. Staff is friendly and course is in ok condition. Some burnt spots but fairways are fine.
The course is semi flat with challenging holes and fair lenth
My opinion it's a good travel to play the greens are a little slow but in nice shape .im glad I've got golf now making tee times is gerat.
Single
Used to come out as a single on standby but now I have to book as a single can’t get anything earlier than 11 o’clock even if I try a week I advance why is that ...? You should still have standby

Great Experience
The course is a lot of fun, even for a duffer like myself. Could be in a little better condition in some spots, but having been closed down with the COVID situation as they were, it's understandable. Still conditions overall are pretty darn good. The Staff is terrific in every way. Very friendly and accommodating. Interacting with them adds to the enjoyment of the Santa Anita experience.
