About
Lion's Paw Golf Links is an open, hilly course that treats the golfer to spectacular views of a beautiful creek valley and its adjoining wetlands. A wild and untamed layout, Lion's Paw features deep sugar white sand bunkers and MiniVerde greens.
A stunning 23,000 square foot clubhouse serves both Lion's Paw and Panther's Run golf courses and offers residents and visitors the perfect place to ready themselves for the upcoming challenge on the links. Designed with a safari theme, the clubhouse includes a full-service pro shop, a snack bar and Tamers Restaurant and Lounge, an elegant dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Lion's Paw has been described as Willard Byrd's finest work. Part wild, part rustic and quiet, this magnificent course presents a lion's share of adventure and breathtaking scenery.

Everyone and everything was great.....except
Course was in great shape. We went early afternoon on Super Bowl Sunday, so it was only us on the course after the turn. We played the round in 4 hours and 20 minutes, even after letting two single golfers play through. Unfortunately, we had a Ranger shadow us all day, stopping at are carts periodically, pushing us to speed up and play ready golf. He mentioned it was Super Bowl day and he had to get home. Very unprofessional and distracting. Gentleman working the bag drop was great, and apologized for the annoyance. Other than the jerk ranger, we had a great experience.

For this time of year I thought the course was in pretty good shape. As on most courses there are scruffi spots that need to be addressed but all in all it was good.

Lions Paw Crawl
Was cart path only after alot of rain the day before, but we were able to play and over all very satisfied. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Excellent value
Lions Paw was in very good winter condition. The cost to play was very reasonable and the pace of play was good. There were two of us and we finished the round in 3.5 hours even with several foursomes ahead of us.

Enjoyed it a lot, some pretty tough holes.staff handled a significant frost delay very well. Would play it again for sure

Nice Course
My husband and I played this course on a cold day and we only saw 5 other people. It was our first time at the course and we enjoyed it. The water areas were marked and we were able to see them even though we didn't know the course.

Enjoyed the round!
First time playing Lion's Paw, winter golf so conditions were appropriate to the season. The staff was great! I really liked the course and found it a challenge. For a better golfer than me it would probably be a relaxed round. Thanks for the great golf! I was first out single golfer so pace of play was FAST!
