Cheraw State Park Golf Course

Cheraw State Park is a fun layout with some challenging and beautiful holes. The holes which back up to the lake are amazing. The course was wet after days of rain so it was cart path only, but it still should not have taken us 4 1/2 hours to play. The bunkers are the worst part of this course. They don’t drain and have a lot of rocks in them. The course is closing next April through August to redo their greens, which didn’t seem to need to be redone. Fun course to play.

I don’t have one bad word to say about Cheraw State Park and ill be looking forward to playing another round there soon

I don't even know where to begin since we bought our RV we've been traveling Eastern seaboard going to different state parks all across the states and by far this is one of the best you will find. Everything about it is top notch. Expect to be challenged but also have a great time. Super laid back staff, beautiful clubhouse, incredible scenery who could ask for anything more?

Thoroughly enjoy playing Cheraw State Park! The layout is challenging and always in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to any need. Always a great time playing Cheraw !!!

What a bargain. One beautiful (landscape and condition) golf course. The cost to play this gem was $35! The rating for value should be higher than a five. Driving range, tee boxes, fairways and greens all excellent. There were a few traps that could be worked on but overall very good. One complaint was the bugs can be quite bad. Bring some OFF. But hardly the fault of the course. Put this one on your list.

My favorite place to play, always in great condition. Very reasonable green fees. Never disappointed.

Really great course that performs way ahead of the expectations from the price of a round. Not the most challenging and relatively forgiving, decent yardages. Gorgeous setting and very quiet, especially on the back nine. I play almost exclusively in the Sandhills of NC and this course can compete with many of the popular “pines” courses in that area in terms of quality.

Great weather, enjoyed course and pro shop staff very friendly and courteous. Recommend for anyone to play who would like challenge.

For the price you probably can't find a better deal this time of the year. We were first out so no one in front or behind. Greens were great! Bunkers have some stones in them but very playable....you shouldn't be in the anyways.

This course has a great layout with excellent greens. No houses to ruin the views. Bunkers are challenging if you're close to the lip. I would love to play here every week.

Greens are excellent. Course overall in good shape. Only complaint is the tee boxes condition. But nothing to egregious.
