My friends first time here my second.
Course is in good shape all around. Pay attention to make sure you go to correct next tee box. # 5 or # 8 small signs are there to direct you but we saw some issues especially if first time there. Great ole school course. Mike in the Pro shop was Great. We will go back probably next April.
Great course
Been living in Greenwood county for 12 years and never played this course until today. I was missing out. Great George Cobb course. This course has been around for a LONG time. The club takes you back to a great time in our history. It was in pristine condition. Greens are fast and I love it that way. Multiple tees for all skill levels.
If you haven’t played here, do it. You won’t be disappointed.
Great hidden gem
Wide open fairways. Greens in great shape. About an 10 on the stimp meter. Really enjoyed the variety of holes. Great George Cobb layout.
Nice course
This was a challenging well maintained course. Long par 3s. Lots of sand teaps and water on several holes. Fairways wide open in most spots. Good overall course for intermediate golfers to the more experienced. Great facilities throughout the course.
Evaluation of Our Round.
The course is always in excellent condition, the staff is courteous & helpful, & the price was very good for the weekend.
Proshop staff was rude and very unfriendly. My group was called the Golf Now group. Would not reccomend this course to anyone.
