Lancaster Golf Club

This course was a great play! The fairways and greens were immaculate. The staff was kind and the overall layout was exciting! I will definitely recommend this course and look forward to playing it again!

We always find great deals at this course. The course is challenging but great for all levels. Staff are always attentive and course is well maintained, minus some wet spots at some of the low-lying areas. Course tends to be full, especially on the weekends, but pace of play is always good (around 3 and a half hours for 2 people).

2nd time playing here, and will definitely be back. Course has a nice layout, and good conditions all around. That plus the price is worth the drive from Charlotte.

Reasonable prices, course in very good shape, cart was clean and pro shop always friendly. Only problem and this is a consistent one with Lancaster: pace of play problems on the back nine. They would really benefit everyone if they had a ranger on the back nine to move slower groups along.

I was very pleased with this golf course. A friend had suggested it and I was pleasantly rewarded. These are the best greens I have seen in years and much larger than on the courses where I usually play. The condition of the fairways was the best I have ever seen, so good I didn't know quite how to play them some of the time. Others have apparently discovered the wonderful qualities of this course, for it was very busy, yet the pace of play was satisfactory.

Drove 40 minutes to try LGC for the first time. Well worth the drive. Course was in excellent shape. Though appearing to be a wide-open course with few trees (the first six holes), when the water, sand, and tree holes appeared the course was gorgeous and challenging despite not being overly lengthy. For the course, price, and pace of play, this course was well worth the drive!

Course is in tremendous shape.... tee to green. Pace of play this afternoon was 3 1/2 hours. Great value!

$20 to walk! Course was basically empty. Greens were in great shape. Honestly firmer and faster than I expected. Only got to play the front because of rain. Will definitely go back!

My one complaint has nothing to do with the course but with Golfnow. Because I booked through GN they wouldn’t give me a rain check. So DO NOT book through GN go directly through the course.

I had played this course a few years back, and was less than impressed by the conditions. I had heard that the course was in great conditions, so I decided to give it another go. I have to say that this is probably my new favorite course in the area between the great conditions, and layout. I love that you get to play a links style course on the front, and a tighter, tree lined back with elevated greens. This course keeps you on your toes. Highly recommend!

I bought a round of golf for my boyfriend’s birthday. He and his buddy loved it and said they’d Definitely play there again

Over 90° with no water stations due to Covid and they still refuse to give me a free bottle of cold water at the clubhouse?

Chester, Fort Mill and Springfield ALL provide free bottles of water during the Covid crisis!

As a member of the Springs Golf courses, we rarely make the drive down to Lancaster ... but that will change! The course is in perfect condition and the layout is really fun to play! With a great staff, great pace and playing conditions, Lancaster is well worth the trip!

Greens are in great shape and course well maintained.

I like the course. Donald Ross front nine allows for grip it and rip it off tee. Small greens. Back nine is more tree lined but not bad. Greens were pretty good

I find a new appreciation for this friendly and relaxing golf treasure every time I play there. I asked myself what is it that has caused me to love playing golf at Lancaster golf club so much and I finally realized the super friendly staff and the very well mannered players who keep pace and seem to play leisurely but ready golf make for a wonderfully relaxing round of golf. The silver senior tees are just right for a good test of golf for us older golfers who don't quite not as long as we used to.
