About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Very Short and Expensive
The course itself is interesting with a few challenging holes, but it is very short from the white tees. I might have used my driver on 5 holes since the yardage was so short on some par 4s. Several holes were under 350 yards. The greens were very furry and quite slow. Overall, had a great time but the green fees were to high.

Little River gem
I am a beginner and I played the back nine at dusk and then the front nine on a beautiful Sunday morning. Places in perfect shape with enough water to keep even the experience players happy. Love this place!

nice course played early greens were dew covered front nine had a bad interaction with group in front thought we hit into them didn't accept apology car guy was short tempered swore at one of our foursome probably would play there again and hope for better circumstances.

Fun to play

Great course bad experience
course was in gòd shape played early greens were dew covered had a confrontation with the group ahead of us (they said we hit into them we apologized but they weren't interested in our apology)which put a bad taste for the remainder of the round person gathering carts (there was a shortage )was quite rude to the guys in the other cart of our foursome.

Problem, they had no golf carts at our tee time.
Had to wait 45 minutes for a golf cart at our tee time, but I play every time I go to the beach, I love Valley though, it’s always nice.

Good little course
Kind of showing its àge, and heavy usage from the public. Tee boxes and cart paths are rough.

Good and Bad
Greens are good, turf was good. Fair amount of water to be wary of. Short(ish) from white tees. Layout and distance makes front nine very scorable and enjoyable. Our twosome played very quickly on front. On back we caught two foursomes and crawled rest of the way. Holes 11 , 17, and 18 are difficult and slightly unfair, especially those last two.
