About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great bang for your buck!
This course was in great condition. The fairways and greens were very well kept. The tee boxes could’ve been cut a bit shorter but overall a very nice short course.
Eastport Sunday
Being a local I am pretty particular about my course selection because of the great quality of many courses in the area. For a real home town feel, this is my favorite. Yes, it is a shorter course, but it is very technical with club selection because of the narrow fairways and water obstacles. Course was in excellent condition. Nothing like relaxing in one of the rocking chairs after a round with a cold drink.

Eastport
Relatively short course but challenging due to tight fairways and well protected greens. Course was in excellent shape from tee to green.

The price is right
Overall the course is very nice for the price. Great course for your average golfer or just starting to learn the game.

Decent layout but short if you are a long hitter
In general the course played well and fairways were in good shape. Greens were punched quite awhile ago based on other reviews and still had not filled in and were still very bumpy. Would have rated higher if greens had been better attended to.

Unplayable greens!
Just airiated.
Tall grass on greens and bumpy.
I feel the greens are unputtable! They could have cut or rolled the greens or something.
They should charge $20 or wait until greens are in any kind of puttable shape.
