About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Eastport was in better condition than the other 3 courses that we played. But they needed a ranger or starter cuz it was stacked. We had 4 groups on a par 5! However we got done in 41/2 hours and we were a 4some

The course is in great condition. We were a little confused on where the next hole was. You could easily go to wrong Tee box on a couple of holes.

Ok course.
Greens are a little rough(brown spots ,hard an ball bounces a lot when putting.)tee boxes are ok. Fareways seem to be in good shape.sand traps have no rakes . I landed in foot steps in traps .sand traps need work.staff was great we got there a hour early by mistake and they got us right out.we will be back to play fun course to play.

Greens are not good!
I can live with average tee boxes, courses not well marked, staff not friendly but give me good greens or don’t act like you gave me a good deal for 45 bucks because you didn’t. I can live with terrible golf paths, no water on the course, no rangers but for petty sakes rake the bunkers or don’t charge me for it. I could go on but I’ll stop there. Be Leary.

Dangerous course
I found the condition of the course just awful many places no grass grass very thin greens are bad and cart paths are worst I ever seen on a golf course your better off staying off the cart paths and drive on the side of the paths the holes are way to close together

Myrtle Beach trip
First time golfing here. Cart paths are deteriorating to gravel. Pace of play was so slow; 5 1/2 hours! No rangers to push players along. Condition of course was pretty rough.

Crowded
Played here on a Saturday afternoon so I guess it's to be expected that there would be a crowd. We finished in about four hours and forty minutes. Not too bad considering we waited on almost every shot.
The course was in ok shape for this time of year. Fairways were actually good, but the greens didn't have enough grass on them. Putts were bumpy at times.
This course is tight, there's not too much water and the trees lining most fairways are cleared out enough that you can hit recovery shots.
