About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great Course
We played on a Sunday morning and had the entire front 9 to ourselves. Played fast and easy. Course was set up to not be as challenging as we thought. The intense wind made it a challenge though. The staff were extremely helpful, professional, and all around awesome!
For $32, you can't beat this anywhere else if you're staying in Myrtle. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we are here.
Good value for the money
I thoroughly enjoy playing Valley at Eastport. We use it as a warm up round before our trip starts. The conditions could be better, but I think the staff and fun layout make up for the conditions.
Eastport Golf Club
This course is well maintained and the staff is great. The only negative is that there is no driving range. So if you are a golfer like me that needs to warm up before teeing off, this isn’t the course for you.

OK course
Fairways were fair and greens had sufficient grass but were very bumpy. Granted we played after several days of rain, but not sure that would have made any difference in green smoothness. Course layout was nice. Oddly the green aprons were fantastic, much better than the greens. Cart paths were exceptionally bumpy. Would play again if I had no other options. Staff was very friendly.

Decent course, just not value compared to green fee price.
Played here a couple of times over the last 18 months. Course looks pretty good from hwy. 17, but conditions for price aren't really that good. Pace of play was excellent, tee boxes shaggy if had grass, bare spots in lots of places around both faiways & rough. Greens ok, but splotchy and slow. Felt "rushed to get to tee box" 30 minutes ahead of my tee time. Paired & repaired to get on tee, to wait. Pace picked up after 3 holes to make waiting not too bad until 13. Still played in 3:15 minutes, but course has it's hardest holes at the end so it's understandable. Layout is good, but has super potential with waterway/river very close in places. $45-$50 green fees are too steep for this course, in my opinion.

Great course for a leisurely round of golf
Course was in great shape. Well manicured greens, not too fast but not slow either. Pace of play was nominal. We were a twosome following several groups of foursomes, however the pace was good. We finished at around 4 hours. Good facilities, friendly staff, and a semi-challenging course made for an enjoyable day on the course. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a pleasant round of golf.

Decent
Course was decent, nothing special. Cart paths and signage are basically nonexistent. Greens were in decent shape on 5/10/23, but had mowing going on my entire round. Glad they mowed because most holes really needed it, but normally that’s an early morning task. No rakes for bunkers besides one on 18. Overall not a bad course, just nothing special compared to Eagle Nest or some of the other courses in the area.

Maiden Voyage
May 6/22 was first time playing since September 2022. The course was awesome, staff very friendly, cannot ask for better combination. We'll be returning, hopefully to improve on the numbers.
