About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Valley at Eastport
First Time Playing - Extreme Foggy Conditions while playing holes 1 - 4. Play Occasionally since moving here in 2015. I'm a Hacker Golfer but enjoyed playing. GOT MY FIRST BIRDIE !!!!! ON Hole 10 PAR 4 .

The Valley
This our 1st time playing here this year..
We played it several times last year
I must say the course is in better shape now then at any time last year, even after all the rain we had a couple of days earlier...
Staff are always nice and friendly..

Great staff even better course
Beautiful course, very challenging greens and narrow fairways but lots of fun will definitely play again and recommend.

Nice course- interesting challenge
We are not good golfers - take our fair share of hacks on a typical round. However, not horrible golfer either. This course made for some interesting clubs decisions and aiming decisions. The hazards are positioned very well to keep me making decisions having to make good tee shots to avoid taking extra strokes. Sand hazards were not in great shape but they make for some nice challenges with some real lips to hit over in fairways and around greens. Elevated greens add to the challenge of getting up and down from sand hazards. Greens also provide just enough slope to confound my poor day of putting. Only my 3rd round of the year so was a little over hcp. Play in NE so course pretty much played like the dry conditions that was 2022 summer since it is still early and not much spring rain yet to thicken up the course.

A little maintenance please!
Pace of play was very slow. Greens were very grainy. Course is well bunkered but not a bunker rake to be found in eighteen holes. Lack of maintenance, unraked bunkers, etc. do not make for an enjoyable round.

Not bad but…
Layout was decent. Course manicured, not that great. Crab grass all over the greens which made them bumpy and untrue. Staff is as friendly. Cart paths were no better than off trail 4-wheeling trails.

Good Value Course
Played 9 holes. Very nice layout. Most of the fairways and greens were in good shape though some areas looked a little brown and dry. As others have said, the cart paths need to be improved. Only one poor guy working the start area so was somewhat overwhelmed but he managed to get us carted and teed off on time.

Love the course, great shape. Group behind us were jerks, hit into us two times. But not the courses’ fault.
