About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Walk in rate
I wasn't sure what time I could free up to play while I was in town, so I called the clubhouse about the walk in rate on their website. The person I talked to was very friendly and said they would be able to fit me in for $39 rate the next day. I showed up the next day and had a difficult time with the guy at the desk who said there were no openings for a single for over an hour. He sent me to the starter , who immediately found me an open time in 15 minutes. I went back to pay and was told there was no walk in rate and the fee was 50$ plus tax. I left.

Great value
Course was very esthetically pleasing. Not a long course but a challenging one. Greens were fast which I like. For $34 this was an amazing deal.

Diamond in the Rough
This course is one of my fav courses so far over the years. Well kept. It's very well layed out and has lots of water challenges. Staff are fanominal...Great price ..You can tell the owner of this club takes pride in this place as it shows..We booked another tee time for the 15th of March next week.... I recommend this club over most specially in the North Myrtle area. This club is like night in day compared to say a course like Azalea Sands which is probably the most unexciting golf course in all of Myrtle Beach . For the same price go to a premium style course like this you won't be disappointed....This course is as good or even better than Myrtlewood Pine Hills which is my second fav in the area. Enjoy..book around today you will love it .

Best course . great challenge
We love this course so much we booked for next wed the 15th of March again...lots of water holes and shot challenges.....such a well layed out designed, well taken care of golf course. Conditions for early March were almost like summer just amazing. You can tell the owner takes pride in this course as it shows. Staff from snack bar to pro shop is amazing right down to the starter as well ...best bang for your buck this place...its a diamond in the rough in Myrtle..100 percent. We have played many courses in Myrtle over the years ..this one was by far one of the best outings at a golf course. I just can't say enough about how great this course is. Book it you won't be disappointed .

Happy Round - Back 9 is Harder
The course was fun - back nine harder than front - more water and hazards. Biggest drawback was no driving range.

Staff was very friendly. Started late due to carts still being on the course. Gentleman working was very apologetic and kept checking to see when the carts were coming in. There was a ladies league that was super slow that day. We were scheduled for 1:32 tee time but went out about 10 minutes late. There was a 3some who missed their tee time so the gentleman was trying to get them out. Some of the greens could use some work. The ladies tee boxes need work, not level and grass was in bad shape on some of them.
Lots of water which was a challenge but a fun course.

Good Course, but tough
This course was in good shape for February in Myrtle Beach. Greens were receptive, but FAST and LOTS of undulations, making putting difficult. Most fairways are narrow (trees both sides) and there is quite a bit of water to carry or avoid around this course. Both 9th and 18th require carry over water to hit green; other par 3s are over stretch of water to hit green. Be prepared for a challenge when you play this course. Might not be the best choice if you are looking for an easier course.

Eastport
Aside from the fact that carts were not available for our teetimes, the pace of play was over 4.5 hrs. Found discrepancies between card layout and actual layout. Kept being surprised.
