About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great fairways and great pace of play
Fairways was in great in shape. Only 3 and 1/2 hours to play.

Great course for the price
Course was good. Very short but decent. Greens were not the greatest when I played. Satisfied with overall experience.

Good Course, Good Vslue
Greens aerated but that was known upfront at booking. Not bad, just a little slow. Food was good. Pace of play , no waiting.

Overall Solid Course for the $$
I would say overall a very solid experience.
I have to give the morning crew two thumbs up. The cart attendant was super friendly and allowed me to play the front 9 before the pro arrived, which I truly appreciated, thanks Mo!
I walked the front 9, very walkable course, wish pull carts were available, would have enjoyed walking the full 18!
Overall course conditions were good (which is better than average in my book)
Tee boxes - 4 of 5
Most were in great condition, some average
Fairways - 5 of 5
I thought overall were very well maintained
Layout - 4 of 5
Some of the blue tee boxes simply had some tree overhang making it difficult to decide what to hit off the tee, really only 2 boxes from what I recall - but part of the challenge
Greens - 3 of 5
Pretty much average. Good speed, but relatively bumpy and not smooth rolling on a majority of the holes.
Pace of play first thing in the morning during the week is great, I got done with 18 in just under 3 hours! With walking the front!
Staff was super accommodating to my early arrival!
I’d definitely play here again.
Watch out for 17, that was a doozy, placement is everything. And I think maybe 14 or 15 too.

Ok course
Pace of play was extremely slow. The sand traps were in very poor shape. Course in general was in ok condition for the money. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Great Golf Day
My wife and I showed up early, and a gentleman named John helped us with our bags and got us a cart. He looked at the schedule and found an earlier open slot for us. He called the pro shop and they too were very helpful.. This made for a fast round,, where we were not waiting for anyone. The course was in very good shape, with an impressive layout. The water hazards came into play, and had turtles, fish, ducks and geese in them. The sand traps also came into play, but neither hampered our scores,. Some of the fairways were a little tight with trees , so ball control is important.. There are a few beautiful homes and condos around the course,, but did not come into play.. So after a great day of golf, we both plan on visiting this course again..
